ThaiPop is awesome! Ate here for lunch and couldn't be more impressed with their food! Great atmosphere has a nice bar and outdoor seating when weather permits. Waitress and staff were courteous and very attentive to our questions. Food came out promptly and hot exactly what we were looking for. If you like Thai food and you're in Rochester this is a restaurant you need to try!
Great restaurant and bar right in downtown Rochester! We got take out and dined in for both fantastic experiences! Their wait staff and hosts we're amazing and knowledgeable about their food and drinks. The cozy atmosphere with the plants was also a fantastic touch! Parking can get full downtown, but there is the ramp nearby.
Yum Yum Wings for an appetizer were good would eat again but not a destination food. Main courses of Noodles n Brussels and Khao Soi with brisket added are fantastic. Both will definitely have us back to order again. Great flavors with some kick but nothing crazy. The dessert was also fantastic! We'll be back with friends for sure.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Papaya salad 3/5. Not a fan of the mint and spice combo Crispy pork belly 5/5. I will order this every single time. The sauce is amazing! Yum yum wings 4/5. Can't go wrong with these. Pad Thai with brisket 3/5. Pretty good, but I wouldn't get it again. Service was a bit lacking the last time we went: no water for 20 minutes, no high chair offered, check-in after meal was brought to us took 15 minutes. I assume the server was new
Genuinely an amazing place, that gets Thai food down right. And so many amazing options and I loved their Pad Thai and House Curry. So many things i tried and you can help but walk out stuff from there. Keep in mind to tell them how spicy you would like it as it can get pretty spicy. A total must visit.
An authentic Thailand flavour with a sufficient amount of each dish. It’s a fantastic experience for us who have missed Thailand food for a few years! Ps: from the local travelling recommendation paper, we knew a female Chef developed the menu, and at that time, she flew back to Thailand to get new ideas and discover new dishes. We hope we can come back and try the new flavours.
We started off with a couple of drinks and the cauliflower pops. What an amazing start and it only got better! Three flavor walleye fish and the coconut brisket were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. Great food. Great service. Great restaurant.
Like being in a bright, open tropical space full of beautiful plants. The seating was comfortable. The staff was friendly and patient with our questions about the menu. The food and service were excellent and prompt. They're kid friendly. But what I appreciated seeing was the use of washcloths as drying towels in the restroom. Green friendly. They also sell their logo shirts on-site. Vegetarian options: Their menu provides a good description of what items and sauces/seasonings are used in each of their entrees. Kid-friendliness: They offer a coloring placemat with crayons that doubles as a kid's menu.
OMG finally checked out this place and I’m so mad I haven’t visited it before. This tofu satay IT’S VEGAN is THE BEST THING EVER!!! I wish I would’ve ordered another plate. I also got a noodle soup and I was not expecting it to be so huge. It was a dish I’ve never tried before, it was sweet yet savory. My family enjoyed their meal as well! My dad tried their Thai tea because it looked pretty and he loved it. The drink shown is the lemonade I believe and it was delicious! The total for 4 ppl was around $90, I was expecting it do be over hundred. The whole vibe of this place is amazing and would love to visit again.
This is my new favorite spot in Rochester, MN! We ordered the Brussels, Pad Thai, and the Tom Kha soup. I still can’t stop thinking about how amazing the Tom Kha soup was. Please add this to your permanent menu! Perfectly balanced flavors of sweet, spicy, salty, and sour. The Brussels were nicely crisp, sweet and salty. I can’t wait to go back!
