Banff is an amazing place but got to eat and had a hankering for Thai food. The day was rainy and cold so some spicy food sounded great. The restaurant is in a small strip mall. Quite busy given Canmore is such a tiny town. Had to seat ourselves. They had only one waiter and he was rushing around. There was another guy but he might have been the owners son as he didn't take orders but tried to help on and off. There was also an older woman who came out once but she might have been the cook. The biggest problem with this place is the service. Very slow so if you're in a rush, call in a take out order. Was starving so started with Summer Rolls (sometimes called fresh rolls but these are wrapped in rice noodle) with shrimp. $8.95 for these is on the higher end of the spectrum. These were good as they did lightly cook the bean sprouts which is a plus. The sauce was more of a fish sauce with sugar and some chopped peanuts. Not really a peanut sauce per se. Also had the green papaya salad. This was very good but spicy!! Lots of thai bird chilis so watch out! You've been warned. For mains we had the red curry, so so, I've had better. Also the spicy beef. The spicy beef seemed like it should have been a salad with cucumbers, red onion and tomatoes which would have been a winner. As a main dish it was average. Luckily they had mango sticky rice!! I am positive that if more people ate mango sticky rice there would be world peace...okay maybe not but our favorite part of the meal. The mango wasn't quite ripe but being in Canmore It was good. Meal was a bit expensive but heck, we were on vacation. Worth it.

Great service with Decent food experience. Food taste was alright not the best Thai experience. Bathrooms were clean and good sitting area.

I would say that this is very far from authentic Thai food. We ordered a variety of dishes and when they arrived, they were all just slight variations of each other - stir fried vegetable dishes with broccoli, peppers and carrots. Meat dishes had hardly any meat in them. Takeout service was slower than promised and overall, food was edible but nothing special. You could cook better food at home.
