Well - very disappointing experience with this restaurant tonight. I have never reviewed a restaurant before in my life. But we are so disappointed with this restaurant. Moved to Tswassen almost 2 years ago. We have ordered there about 5 times and while the food has been good - the cook service is so bad in terms of being ready on time. Tonight we thought we would be “smart” and ordered at 4/30 which is when they actually open then asked for a 6:00 pick up. Surely this was a sound plan correct!!!! No not a chance. It’s now 7:00 am - we have family over and we are not sure when the food will be ready…….. Doesn’t matter how good the food is when this is the service you provide. With no apology or attempt to make any offer. Obviously the restaurant is too busy and probably doesn’t care about losing us as a customer it this is very upsetting — and BTW we paid for everything at 6:00 when we arrived.
Shoutout to the girl working Saturday night pretty much alone. The place was packed and people were calling and walking in every minute. She was totally calm and handled it so well definitely deserves a raise. Food taste great as always.
First and last time I will ever go there. Ordered 2 dishes. Padi thai and green curry. I sent the pad thai back because it was sweet. The young girl who worked there said would I lile anything else. I said no thank you. When I went to pay for the bill the owner still charged me. I asked the owner why should I pay for something I don't like and barely even touched. She said that she always gave away free food. I told her well your trying to charge me for something I didnt like. I will gladly pay for my sons food but not mines. She said I will call the police. She called the police and I sat there patiently waiting. The police came and I told them I would have compromise with the owner, but she was admitted to call the police. Police came and I paid my son bill and will never go back Just stay away
Terrible customer service, usually great Thai food, though this time they added dry spice on top and it was awfull as it was so hot my mouth went numb. Owner response was plain rude.
Nice cozy little place. The dishes are simple and delicious. We had the Noodles Delight and Chicken Red Curry. The noodles are packed with flavour and the curry is creamy but light with fresh veggies. The service is as expected, average. Not a bad choice if you're in the area and out of ideas on what to eat! Also love the music in here
We order from here at least once a month. The food is always tasty and of exceptional Quality. If you order for pick up your food is typically ready when promised, however, like any small business with limited staff making authentic food NOT fast food there are times when your food will be late. If you’re looking for fast food I suggest you try McDonald’s, A&W or Thai express. However, I can assure you, the quality will be nothing shy of mediocre at best in comparison to Thai Isaan. The staff have always been nothing shy of excellent.
Bit of a disaster tonight. Food was 40 minutes late, they forgot the ordered coconut rice, majority of the order was luke-warm at best, and the pad Thai was hot, not medium. Fortunately I can deal with the extra heat but it would have been a complete disaster if it had been my wife's dish that was extra hot.
The food wasn’t ready when they said it would be , Thai food is all about freshness I ordered the lettuce wraps and it was made with frozen vegetables peas carrots corn , it was a fairly good size but they only gave me a quarter head of lettuce and then told me there was nothing they could do about it , nothing about the food should have been labeled Thai could have been made at home for five dollars
My husband and I visit here often and thier food is so delicious and authentic! The lady is kind and welcoming, listens our request to accommodate the meal for kid-friendly, suggests a good combination of the dishes, and adjust the spiceness level. However if you are rushed to get quick meal I won't recommend here. Since there are short staff, getting ready the meal takes longer than ordinary restaurant. Saddly, I witnessed some new customers didn't get a waiter soon enough so left without any order...it's too bad for this delicious cuisine.
Amazing food!!! I'm shocked at how many people complain about the time it takes, it's worth the wait - just order early and plan ahead. Ours took 45 mins and was right on time. The food was absolutely amazing - I'm really impressed. They actually make it hot when you ask for hot too, I love the spice levels. Definitely going to order from here on the regular. Super friendly staff too :
