My boyfriend and I have been here a few times now and it’s been nothing but great. Our second time the manager who always has this lovely smile on his face remembered us and gave us a great greeting. His I believe wife was very welcoming! The food has always be amazing. Nothing to ever complain about here. The atmosphere is clean, modern and simple.
Our family of 5 decided to try this Thai restaurant as it is close to our place. It was definitely worth it! Delightful atmosphere, staff and delicious food. The owner also made us a special hot thai chili sauce as we like our food spicy A bit on the pricey side but what isn't these days. Our favorites were the spring and salad rolls, the Tom Yum fried rice and the green curry. The drunken noodles were great and the beef cashew nut stir fry was ok. The fried banana dessert was yumm. Overall, wonderful experience and we will be returning! Vegetarian options: Many choices
We made a quick detour on our way home from hockey and happened into Thai Avenue by pure luck. It was a great meal with great service. The mango salad was a new experience for us and was simple and delicious. Something we will try to make at home. Thai Avenue is only 5 minutes off of the Henday. We will remember it if we are passing by again around dinner time.
What a gem in the north. If you are looking for a beautiful date night, with the right mood and food, you have to check them out. From the moment you walk in the place is stunning and so well put together. The server was very welcoming and always checking on us if we needed anything. We went here for a date night and all in it was just below $100 for starter, main and dessert with a drink so I think it is priced very reasonably. My husband started with a drink called Thai Ave pink milk which he said was enjoyable. We had the coconut curry soup we ordered large but I think a regular would have worked for both of us as we also ordered the chicken Thai skewers with peanut sauce, definitely get it if you love peanut butter If you are ordering one starter to share, then the large makes sense to share. We then ordered pad Thai and pad kee mow. Both were good but the pad Thai was better. The flavour was definitely on point. We then had dessert and ordered the fried Bana with coconut ice cream and the cake pudding. To be honest I wasn't a fan of the cake pudding. It was abit heavy on the egg but still delicious. I was definitely a fan of the icecream and fried banana but two things to note. They could definitely put more pieces of fried Banana for the price you pay and the icecream portion could be slightly smaller. It looked off balance. If there was 6 pieces of fried banana and one scoop of icecream, it would have been much better of a serving because while you are eating it, the friend Banana is done so quick and there is too much ice cream leftover. That's again on my opinion so the restaurant perhaps can change that to make the portion more balanced. Overall the food, the ambiance and the service was wonderful. It's definitely a gem of a restaurant in the Northside so please check it out. You won't be disappointed. Let me know what you think! Follow for more honest, real reviews from this mama of 4!
So this is my 5th time here now, wanted to wait to make my review. Everything is top notch, flavours are perfect, spicy, lots of options and even options for single diners. The owners are friendly and welcoming, service is attentive and the space is inviting. I need to save rooms for dessert, deep fried banana rolls and ice cream!!?! Yes please! I'm so happy there is a good Thai spot on the northside, definitely check it out! Vegetarian options: Almost all options can be vegetarian Kid-friendliness: Kids menu
Went to Thai Avenue and got the boat noodles which was my first time trying them and I really enjoyed them. My friend got the pad see eew which had good flavor but I do wish it had that fiery wok flavor the dish is known for. The mango sticky rice was perfect it’s a must any time you get Thai food. I also had the khao soi when they first opened which was probably my favorite dish in Thailand and this place had really good flavor but it definitely could use some heat to it if it’s going to be authentic. Obviously being in Alberta you can’t go full Thai spicy but a little heat would make the dish much better. I will for sure go back here I’m really looking forward to trying the Thai sausage.
Lovely place! I was impressed by the food. We ordered spicy mango salads, tomyum noodle soup, and pineapple fried rice. I would love it even more if there were more noodles in the soup. The soup was delicious!Food: 5/5
6 of us ordered Panang Curry, Deep Fried Lemongrass Chicken, Sweet & Sour Stir-Fried Vegetables, Glass Noodle Salad, Pork Fried Rice, Thai BBQ Pork with Sticky Rice, and Boat Noodles. Everything was so delicious with authentic Thai flavor. Especially the boat noodles which is really hard to find in a Thai restaurant here. It tasted exactly like what we've had in Thailand. If you love Thai food, Thai Avenue is the place to go.
Went to Thai Avenue for the first time today with my bestie to celebrate her birthday. Food was delicious, service was amazing. They heard it was my friends birthday and even surprised her with a dessert and sang happy bday. For sure will return. Thank you for a wonderful time.Food: 5/5

The Green Curry is perfect for eating with rice! And the Curry Squid is also a must!Recommended dishesCoconut Soup Tom Kha Gai, Pork Sweet Jerky, Lemongrass Stir Fry
