They look professional and well organized. I've got nothing but great things to say about Team Tevlin Gleadle Curtis. They are all highly professional and excellent customer service providers. In my experience, most lawyers don't stay current with changes to the laws that apply to their field of expertise. Team Tevlin Gleadle Curtis' lawyers are the exception. I've had the pleasure of working with a few of their lawyers and all of them are highly intelligent and extremely well versed in employment law. Why? Because they are well educated, passionate about the law, and do their research. One lawyer in particular on the team, Martin Sheard, has been my go-to lawyer for my business needs since he first helped me settle a wrongful termination suit against me where I was terminated by a former employer without cause. He got me a fair settlement in a timely manner because he built a solid case and was unwavering in his position. During the course of the litigation, Martin was always professional, provided me with excellent legal advice, kept me up-to-date with developments for my file, and his fees were more than fair. I hired him again when another employer a couple years later unilaterally terminated my fixed-term contract without cause when I still had a year remaining. After helping this company generate tens of millions in new business within my first year, they cut me loose because they felt they didn't need me anymore. Again, Martin helped me to get an excellent result in a timely manner and for a fee I was very happy with. I've also had the pleasure of working with Ian Kennedy and Kemily Ho who assisted Martin and I on those two files. Both of them I found to be equally competent, professional and excellent to work with. When it comes to drafting or reviewing employment contracts or resolving employment related disputes, I wouldn't recommend any other firm.

Ian Kennedy was highly recommended to me by another lawyer through a family friend, and my experience with him and his firm was exceptional. He was able to provide me with expert legal advise in a professional and efficient way. I had full trust in him from the beginning and I knew I was in the right hands. I found Martin Sheard to be highly ineffective as counsel to my case. When he gave me a document to review it had subject matter that had nothing to do with me. I had to pretty much RE draft the documents as it seemed like a cut and paste job from another case.m seemed that way My case was juggled between two lawyers as Martin was on vacation at the initial stages of litigation. The other lawyer in that from that firm was very, very good. But I just didn’t find Martin sheard effective and didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with my case and just ended up dropping the case. Again, this is my experience and I’m sure other cases were handled better as previous reviews indicate. This case was two years ago but I took some time to gather my thoughts before typing this review.
Excellent firm...extremely professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. Highly recommended. Martin was my lawyer.... he is nothing short of fantastic in every aspect of his duties and responsibilities. He was recommended to me by a good friend of mine who is a lawyer himself, and I was not dissapointed one bit. He is extremely passionate and truly cares about your case and does his absolute best to reach a just result swiftly. An excellent example of what all lawyers should strive to be like.
Though I only needed aid from a lawyer briefly. David McWhinnie was incredibly helpful & caring about the situation I was dealing with. He was very prepared going into our meeting & made sure I was getting as much out of it as possible. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients & wants to make sure they are getting the absolute best help. I have no doubt I made the right choice going with Tevlin Gleadle Curtis & they will be my only recommendation to anyone who needs assistance from an Employment Lawyer.
