The food here is great and good portion size. The service was also great. We would definitely come back again. Please visit this place and try it out, it is easy to miss as it’s located at the bottom of a condo and the entrance is though the office lobby or a side door.
Rendang beef was succulently tender, had delicious flavor and a generous portion of meat. It came with a warm soft fluffy naan. Also tried the Fried Cauliflower, which was yummy. The staff was friendly. Tasted like a wonderful home cooked meal, not take out. Try it and you won't regret it.Food: 5/5
I ordered the chicken satay, also known as satay ayam. The chicken was marinated in an Indonesian spice mixture and is served with peanut soy sauce. It was so juicy and succulent. I also ordered the cassava pudding for dessert. I didn’t take a picture because I wanted to eat it right away lol I know some people are afraid to try something new, but you should try Indonesian food. It’s super hard to find in Canada. I also got the rendang and nasi uduk which came with sides. One of the owners was kind enough to let me sample the Indonesian falafel and it was so crispy and flavourful. Check out this place and show them some love!
Teta's serves both Indonesian and Lebanese cuisine at the FLIP foodcourt. Stopped by for early dinner and decided to try a couple of their Indonesian dishes. - Nasi Udok Ayam: The chicken was tastily bathed in the sambal sauce. Side tempeh was springy, and there was a good enough amount of peanuts. Rice had a surprisingly strong coconut taste which I loved. - Rendang with Naan: Wholebtasty, would have liked the beef to be slow cooked juuust a tad more to make it consistently tender throughout. Side Naan was a good soaker for all that rich curry sauce. Service was quick and pleasant. Prices were definitely reasonable for the portion sizes you get. And bonus points for offering a cuisine that's unique in the area. So definitely stop by Teta's and the FLIP foodcourt for an enjoyable meal.
Came here on a weekday for lunch for their $12 lunch deal 12pm-2pm. It comes with a choice of main and a side so I got Rendang and Jackfruit Curry. I was also saw the Cassava pudding so I decided to give that a try as well. The lady working there, Sharlene, was very nice and took the time to explain the dishes and what she recommends. She also told me that the Lebanese dishes come very fresh, as they cook the meat when they get the order so it takes about 10 minutes. The lunch special was great especially considering the price. It was my first time having cooked jackfruit and I'm glad I tried it. Rendang was also good but the highlight was the Cassava pudding. The texture was like a rice pudding and the sweetness was just perfect. The only downside was that the rice was a bit clumpy but I'm assuming it's always not like that. Would definitely visit again and I do really wish that the food court that the restaurant is located in gets more traffic because it's great.
The spice on the meat is SO good! The medley of flavours on their beef wrap is a tastebud's dream, even though I'm not usually a fan of cabbage. Will definitely go again to try their other dishes. The staff was really nice and prices are reasonable, too.
Love this place! Food is so good. My faves include the falafel both kinds - Lebanese and Indonesian, cassava pudding, and muhamarra. Mary is a delight. Unfortunately, its location is hidden - you have to go in through two sliding doors, beside Lucullus. I look forward to checking out their supper club set menu in April.
Such a great experience! Good food and excellent service! Definitely will return.
The rendang is really good! Soft and tender, the curry is delicious with the rice. Hope their food hall picks up traffic!
The owner prepared the meal so neatly, very delicious, so comforting.. they also very friendly, made me feel like keep coming back for more..
