I don’t normally write reviews but this one struck a chord because they target individuals with special needs for money. If you care about your child’s well-being I suggest not to send them here. This place is a scam. They are just after grant money or money in general. I had a meeting with the woman and she was not warm or friendly and was nervous like she had something to hide. They take your kid in right away which is a red flag. The intake person texts you at all hours of the day and in an unprofessional manner. Red flags. Avoid. The positive reviews are just their friends they’re not real. P.S. For my initials, I used my first name and middle name.
If I could, I would give zero stars to this place. After they booked and confirmed my daughter’s appointment, they cancelled it on the day of the appointment. The psychologist was leaving the clinic. Did she resign on that day? Why did they confirm the appointment if the psychologist was no longer there? Nobody ever replied to my calls or emails. Not professional people and terrible customer service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Steer clear of this awful place! A bunch of scammers and money hungry staff. My nephews who are 8 and 10 were given the exact same instruction. They do not adhere to BCBa code of ethics. This is just a silly daycare under the guise of one on one instruction. Sadly in it for the money not for the benefit of their special needs students. Extremely disappointing and disgraceful. The president is a malicious person...stay away if you love your children.
Don't trust this place.... they will try to come up with receipts to get the full funding amount you have been approved for by the government. they will try to give you all the services and add all that up to perfectly sum up to the exact dollar figure the government has given you to get services. they should be thinking about providing quality services first before worrying about getting the full funding amount.
This establishment is a complete money hungry and corrupt institution in all of Ottawa. After seeing my sister suffer from this "SCHOOL" 's incompetence, misleading and corrupt teaching techniques, she didn't get what she paid for from the funding offered to her by the ministry. She lost almost 45, 000$ from her funding that she will never see again, my nephews called it "play school" bc all they did was play and not learn. Also, my sister paid for 1 to 1 services, which is 90$/ hr, while there were 3 students to 1 teacher. This is disappointing to the parents that currently have their children enrolled at this institution, bc they have no idea the ride that this place has in for them! My sister was under the impression that this was a legit school and with all the fraudulent activities happening with billing is completely overlooked by the ministry as it is a privatized institution. The kids were only there for 2 weeks, and the school took the full 45,000$ and will not refund the rest, as they are corrupt and fraudulent. Lawyers and newspapers are involved and this joke of an instituion will not win. They have caused my sister pain, anxiety and depression and they will not get away with it!
This place is so bad I didn't learn anything I want to go back to Nexus Therapy I was super happy there but the big boss won't let my mom take me out of here. Don't go there OK everyone it's a bad place this place is the worst.
Stay away from this place which managed by bunch of unprofessional management team including the President. Lately couple of parents were over billed or their credit card details were used for sporadic charges without invoicing or their knowledge. For refund they put you through the wringer. Most of the experienced therapists already left this place due to bad management team. If you want to be financially swindled or willing to put through all unpleasant experience, then ‘Terrace Wellness” AKA IHEALTHOX provide that experience. They stopped provide ABA therapy and provide expensive “respite” and bill it as ABA therapy. When I looked at 5star rating, I can recognised few of those name as they exactly match either their employees or ex-employees. Please refer insight from employees at Glassdoor
I loved it here!! They were so kind and really helped me with my social anxiety, I feel so much better now about going out in public. I recommend this place. Thank you so much!
My child loves it here. They take the best care of their kiddos!!
This place is incredible!!Helped my young daughter loved it here and it helped her with a lot of her anxiety.
