Store Policies
Appointments
We reserve your appointment times specially to fit your needs and other commitments. To allow the time to get the most out of your pampering, we require that you are on time to your scheduled appointment. We will give a 10 minute grace period to allow for traffic or parking. We do understand that things come up, so if you know that you are going to be more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, please give us a call to see if we can still fit in your service or if you will be required to rebook.
If you are more than 10 minutes late without calling us first, we reserve the right to call the number provided to us and reschedule your appointment. One late client can throw off our entire days schedule and cause our other clients who have honored their appointment time to be late for their other commitments.
Therefore, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse partial or complete services.
Also, we operate off of booked appointments, and as such are not always able to accommodate walk ins, so if you are able, please call 250-638-7787 to see what we have available. We do not book through text or Facebook. We will always try our best to accommodate you, but know that we have been getting busier and thus don't always have space for same-day appointments!
If you are booking for a party of 3 or more we do require at least a week in advance as usually we are unable to accommodate multiple people at the same time on short notice. Weekends especially book up fast! We also require a non-refundable deposit, cost of which will be determined by group size and what is getting done, in order to ensure that if you are unable to make the appointment, our employees don't have a large gap in their schedule where we could have had clients.
Cancellations/No Shows
We would ask that if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment that you call us to cancel 24 hours in advance. We ask this so that we are able to fill the spot so that our wonderful technicians are able to fit in another client, as they are paid on commission, so no client means they don't get paid!
Any cancellations without adequate notice will be charged a $25 Cancellation Fee.
In event of emergencies (which we understand inevitably come up) we would ask that you still call us, and there will be no repercussions! Though, clients who abuse this policy, and repeatedly cancel appointments without proper notice will be asked for a non-refundable $10 deposit to secure your next appointment.
Any clients with 3 no show appointments within a 90 day period will be required to prepay for all future appointments.
Children and Family/Friends
We love doing kids nails! However, we are not a babysitting service. Unattended children in the salon are disruptive to our other clients and dangerous, as well as being unfair to the child as they need to behave and sit for hours while you are being serviced. We use many products that are harmful if ingested or applied to unprotected skin, and are not responsible for injuries they may sustain while within our salon unattended. So if your child is not receiving a service, and are under 7 years of age, please keep them safe and leave them at home with a sitter. If you absolutely have to bring them, please ensure you bring proper entertainment for the child such as a toy or book or electronic device to keep them occupied. Any child receiving a service needs to be mature enough to sit still to have their nails done.
We know that you love to have company in the salon, however we have limited space and seating in our salon. We need our seating for clients, and so we respectfully ask that you not bring an excess of friends and family along with you if they are not being serviced so that our clients are able to relax and enjoy their appointments.
Health
If you are sick, please call and reschedule your appointment. We cannot afford to be sick, and we often cater to children, elderly, and immune compromised individuals as clients and do not want to put them all at risk! Additionally, if you have a potentially contagious condition on your hands or feet, such as signs of fungus or warts, we do require that you tell us so that we can prepare the proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing our work stations and tools. If we advise you on whether or not we are able to provide the service to you legally and safely.
If you have any allergies to products (such as Latex) or anything else one might find in our salon, please let us know when you book to make sure we can avoid causing you undue discomfort!
Cell Phones and Language
Please be respectful of those around you who are trying to relax during their nail service or are in conversation with their nail technician: we don't all want to hear your phone conversation! Please set your phone to vibrate and use a moderate speaking voice if you need to take a call. Hands free devices are strongly advised as you can contaminate the nails with dirt and oils from your hair and face during service, which can cause problems with the nails after you leave your appointment. Additionally, pay attention to your nail technician! We don't have the time to waste waiting for your hand to be free to be able to complete your appointment, and taking your hands out of the uv/led lights to respond to a text can cause your nails not to set properly.
Please be respectful of the fact that we have a salon based on pampering and relaxation, and watch your language. We regularly have children or people in the salon that do not appreciate cussing.
Payment
We take debit cards, cash, and all credit cards except American Express as payment for your services. No matter how you pay, your nail technician receives their full tip. Tips are not pooled except for in a party of 3 or more. If you have services provided by several technicians, we split the tips evenly between them.
Please have your payment method with you when you enter our salon before your service, we will not allow you to go out to your vehicle to grab your wallet or for you to come back and pay at a different time.
Our service fees are non-negotiable and clearly posted, but we would be happy to discuss all charges and fees with you to ensure you know what you are paying for. If you are unhappy with your nails, we will fix them happily. If you leave our salon without paying for your service, we will contact the police and prosecute theft of service to the fullest extent of the law.
Treat your Gift Certificate as cash! Unfortunately, if you lose or forget your Gift Certificate we are unable to honour it. You must have your Gift Certificate with you at time of payment in order for it to be applied to your totals. Though all Gift Certificates are credits towards your appointments, so even if it says it is for a specific service (such as manicure/pedicure/Gels/etc.) we will honour the amount it is worth towards whatever service you chose.
Refunds
If you are unhappy with your nails, please make us aware of it before you pay. We will adjust them to your satisfaction or remove and enhancements or coatings that have been applied.
There will be absolutely no cash refunds will be given after you have left the salon.
Guarantee
Shellac and Gels are guaranteed for 1 week after your appointment. If you break, chip, or notice lifting in your nails within that week period please call us to schedule your free repair. You must contact us within the week about issues with your nails in order for the free repairs to apply. After a week if you have anything happen the cost of fixing your nails come at a price of $5 each.
Remember, nails are jewels, not tools! Be kind to your nails and you will be able to enjoy their beauty for weeks after your service!
We cannot guarantee nails done in traditional nail polish.
We Reserve the Right to Refuse Services To:
Anyone in ill health that we suspect may be contagious or we fear may be further harmed by our services
Anyone more than 10 minutes late for an appointment
Anyone who consistently no shows to appointments and refuses to prepay for future appointments.
Anyone who is rude, mean, or disrespectful
