We love the entire experience! We took our three kids there, aged 1, 3, and 5! It's a good option especially during COVID time. We walked around and enjoyed the light show, especially the one at polar bear habitat! The message behind the show is quite clear, that we need to be nicer to the environment now so we can have a better future! Near the end, there's an interactive drum light game! It's fun and it's so de-stressing!
We went at the 8:45 pm start and there were not as many people. As we finished we saw a line of people trying to get in. Be prepared with all the information, tickets, parking, COVID vaccine, and ID. The venue is interesting and definitely worth visiting. I would say if you have not visited anything similar to a light show it is definitely worth visiting. The message the entire light show conveys is to leave in harmony with nature. Bring a good jacket as it does get cold and a low light capable camera to video record and take pictures. Tim Hortons is open until 10:30 pm and that made a difference to have a hot cup of coffee while you are walking though the light show.
My first experience was in Whistler for this beautiful artistic experience in nature, so I really had to come here and check this location out. Also to mention you can get Beaver Tails here too while on the path! If you are really a true artist at heart..I would recommend coming on your own as there is many details to take photographs of.
After seeing ads online finally decided to check it out. Purchased tickets & parking $14 in advance. Arrived to the zoo and was a bit lost as the entrance for parking was closed. Tip - if drive out of the lot and turn right, there is a lane way that takes you to the parking. The process for check in was smooth and we were led to start of the trail. They only allow a handful to go in each time. Here is my honest review. Do I think it was worth the price? Hm some aspects yes and others not so much. The story is you are in the future etc and through out the walk the story really was not captivating. Some features especially at the beginning were absolutely mesmerizing and others not so much. I have done a similar experiences else where and this was underwhelming. Overall, it was a calming experience but I will not return to experience again.
Fantastic experience with a great message website says the walk is about an hour but that's dependant on you walked it in about 40 mins but I wasn't rushing. Really cool effects just make sure you go on a warmer night it's freezing out there. The light shows were amazing and beautiful to watch I just wish there was a little more considering price and parking
Let me start off by saying what an amazing experience this is. The light and sound design kicks the experience up by a notch. I would recommend visiting during the 9:30pm slot as the sky is pitch black by then.
What a lovely night out, the weather was perfect for the walk, it took just over an hour to walk the tour. Had to wait a little for the drums, which was the slowest section of the show. The laser lights at the beginning are probably the best overall lights. The projections are all really cool too. Don't look for the animals, they are all inside hidden, although the wolves did happen to appear for a short visit!
Truly memorizing, worth ever penny. The art and vibe the music it was definitely giving. Not to mention the wonderful message of hope for the future & peace between animals and humans. Highly recommend for parents great experience for children / adults.
What a beautiful experience. The lighting is done very well and it's exciting. It takes about an hour to walk through depending on how long you take at a few of the more special locations. There was a chip/drinks food truck as well as beavertails. We had waited a long time before doing this and it was absolutely worth it.
Nice experience and fun walk. I would recommend to family with kids that likes to take a fun walk for 20 minutes. When I went it was a bit cold and Beavertail Nutella and hot apple cider made the end worth it highly recommended
