We were looking for a quick bite to eat and chose here. We all tried the lunch special, chicken teriyaki regular or spicy for $10.95. The chicken was moist and delicious. It was a fairly large portion too. I would come here again if on the area. There was a steady stream of customers in the time we were there and so others must feel the same!
This is the best teriyaki I've had in my life! Am I being dramatic? Yes. Am I exaggerating? No! The beef isn't cheap and flimsy but more of a steak texture and thickness. Their chicken is breast meat but is just as tender as thigh meat. In terms of flavor, it is complex, instead of simply being sweet and "soy saucy". The chicken has a subtle spicy kick to it which I think is brilliant. The beef is simply an umami bomb! They're super generals with their portion. You know it's a good business when they don't skimp on meat. 10/10
Ordered spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice. Chicken was not spicy! Told the owner and he argued that it was. Food tasted fine, wasn't bad, but this was just regular chicken teriyaki. Tried to give us the Sriracha sauce to use. Don't promote spicy if you don't have it, simple.
Update, improved, good teriyaki and salad now. Have not seen any more salad like pictured.
If I had to go there again definitely not. Ordered barbecue pork fried rice, but it look and tastes different. Not worth the price $10.90 + TAX
It was all good, but I had to share it with my roommate. It was a lot. My diet is for a lot of noodles and rice and onions with lettuce. I'll have to freeze it for later consumption.Food: 5/5
Gritty chicken. Been there quite a few times. I always order the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki. It is pricey, plus with the 30% tip, I expect it will be delicious all the time. I got a big surprise yesterday. The portions are fine, but chicken was either reheated, or cooked on the grill that had not been cleaned for a while. The meat was very gritty, dry, like burnt on teriyaki sauce. When I go I always watch the cook brush off the grill, and clean it before he places the meat on. This time, I did not witness any cooking going on. Perhaps reheating process, the chicken picked up all the stuck-on grill bits. Not good...like eating dirt or sand.
Great quality and fresh food! It may take them a little bit to get your food out but thats because they are cooking it fresh. Even the salad was fresh which surprised me, I normally toss it in the trash from other Teriyaki joints. Definitely going back.
$14 will get you this , when asking for more teriyaki sauce or salad dressing which he never puts enough he wants another .50 Cheap owners , small sizes.
The food was cooked a day or two ago the chicken and the beef is so tough you can’t eat it. I cooked in a restaurant for 18 years I know what 1 day or 2day old meat is.don’t go here
