What a waste of money. We ordered chicken katsu, general tso chicken, orange chicken and cream cheese rangoons. The chicken katsu was greasy, mushy and fried in old oil. The salad that came with was rotten. The general tso chicken was disgusting and we found mold in it. The orange chicken was slimy and all the breading had come off. The rangoons were barely cooked, the cream cheese was luke warm at best. Online the prices were around 8/9 dollars although once you get there to pay everything jumped up to 12/13 dollars.
Great food and good portions for the price. Clean tables and eating area. The staff was very nice and even though we ordered a lot of food they were fast and politeFood: 5/5
Ever since I heard the microwave slam and it smelled of cigarettes in the back I haven't gone back in 2 years been waiting to make this review worst restaurant and customer service since 2014 for me I walked here once a week I recommend the wok or go to lakestevens for quality and safe to eat foodFood: 1/5
Ordered the orange chicken and chicken fried rice, very happy with what I got for the price! The orange chicken sauce is great and it came in a fairly large portion for a sub $10 entree. The chicken fried rice was also good, not 'the best' chicken could use some better seasoning but GOOD ENOUGH, especially considering the generous serving size and cheaper price than competitors. I will definitely be back for more!
This is by far our favorite place, local to us, for teriyaki and sushi. Ownership is hilariously funny but authentic and a fantastic chef! You will NOT be disappointed. Favorite dish is the chicken yakisoba and sushi is, of course, California roll and tuna roll. Fresh and delicious.
The amount of food they give you nowadays when you order is smaller than what it used to be. Could be back to normal I'd be really nice. But other than that the food's always really good and the people are amazing.
Worst food ever. Walk in and the whole place stinks of cigarette smoke. Cups are covered with plastic wrap, the bottles all have foil covering them and hair on them. Everything you touch is sticky, chairs, tables, the floor. EVERYTHING. The sushi stunk of raw fish which it’s not suppose to unless it’s about to go bad. The fact they served it to us like that’s horrible. The beef teriyaki had absolutely no flavor and was so cold, it was put in hot rice and given to us. If I could give this restaurant no stars I would.
It's just OK. Not great, not terrible. Rice was a huge disappointment. It was mushy and practically flavorless. Breaded chicken was way overcooked. Teriyaki chicken was good. Moist and sauce was amazing. Sweet and sour chicken was good. Beef and broccoli was gross, sauce was thin and didn't taste right. It was worth a try and no one was hungry after but definitely better choices in the neighborhood IMO.
David makes the best teriyaki sauce around. And they are very friendly here too
Don’t be fooled by rustic setting. Very good service and great food. Come hungry because their meals are robust.
