The food was absolutely delicious. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and we were definitely satisfied.
I have been going here for 3 years and everything was great until today. I called in an order a wanton soup and an egg drop soup. I pick up my soups and go home to only find out my wonton soup is a miso soup. So I drive all the way back for the owner to correct my order. I thought this would be something extremely simple for her to do. But instead she argues with my daughter that it was my fault that I ordered a miso soup and wanted to charge me 1.50 extra for the wonton soup. I was not going to pay any more money after her arguing with my daughter over who was right and who was wrong. I know what I ordered I never ever order miso soup because I DO NOT LIKE MISO SOUP... I go in and ask for my money back and she tells me to come back tomorrow because she has to look for the receipt so I showed her the email from the transaction she still said I had to come back tomorrow I told no I'm not coming back tomorrow I'll wait. We wait for 20 minutes while she's taking care of her other customers then she's ready to look for the receipt to process my refund so we go up to the counter and she opens up her register and finds the receipt right away like it was the 3rd one out of how many receipts she had and as she was doing my refund she arguing with me that it's my fault that I ordered a miso soup. I've never in my life seen someone so old act so childish and especially after their own mistake a simple I'm sorry I'll fix this was all she had to do but that's was just too hard for her I told her I was not coming back here after her arguing with me about her mistake then she said thank you. She clearly needs to hire people to help her she's way too overwhelmed and messing up orders and blaming othe people and trying to tell them what they ordered. Her attitude has changed so much now that her restaurant is busy because I remember when this place was so empty and we would easily spend 10-15 talking. She needs to remember that restaurant is nothing without customers keep treating people this way and that restaurant will be empty again.
I absolutely love this place. I go there at least twice a week. Jackie is my favorite. Their food is absolutely to die for. My go to is the chicken teriyaki, but their sushi and other items are very, very good as well. Out of all the teriyaki joints right there in Smokey Point, this one is BY FAR the best! We love you guys!!!
The food is wonderful. We love the Singapor Noodle. The teriyaki chicken breast is juicey, delicious and always grilled fresh to order. Our favorite part of eating at the Teriyaki Bowl is seeing Jackie, who always has a excellent attitude, exceptional customer service and her complimentary soup is the best. Truly is one of the best teriyaki joints in the county. Definitely our favorite spot to eat at in the Smokey Point/ Marysville/ Arlington area.
The food was delicious. We ordered two chicken breast meals and they were tender, juicy and generously portioned. Prices are reasonable and service was prompt and friendly. So happy we found this place for when the teriyaki craving strikesFood: 5/5
Rude and condescending towards disabled people that I sent there. Not better than Miyako's Teriyaki & Wok or Teriyaki Point which are both just a few blocks away. Skip this and go to either of the 2 restaurants that I mentioned and you will not be disappointed.Food: 1/5
We stopped by for lunch after a grandkids basketball game. It was a random pick, but the food was great, and plentiful...l had chicken teriyaki with a veggie side, l took home enough for a second meal. And so did the couple with me. Service was great also. As for the atmosphere, it's a strip mall teriyaki place. What would you expect?. It was clean and friendly...must be very popular, the phone orders kept them very busy.
My mouth was watering smelling the sauce from the bag. When I got home I was so excited to eat, but that first bite wasn't very good. I had ordered chicken teriyaki with chicken breast, but it was so thin that it looked like someone had taken a meat tenderizer tool and hammered the chicken breast and made it flat. And the sauce wasn't all that great. The egg rolls were pretty good though. I most likely won't go back.
Positives- cashier/owner? Was very friendly and nice. Not so great- food was not up our alley at all. We ordered a chicken and veg dish, tofu and kung pao chicken. All dishes came seasoned to varying degrees with what seemed like the same single ingredient- sugar in a syrupy and overly sweet sauce that was supposed to be teriyaki. My mom could not eat her kung pao chicken because it was so greasy and very heavily doused in that single flavour, sweet sauce. The portions were much too massive? Don’t think anyone could eat as much as was served.. my parents commented that they could have used the rice from these dishes for at least a whole week. I really wanted this place to pleasantly surprise me but it unfortunately did not.. the owner seemed really friendly which was the only plus. It is affordable here but I would honestly rather have a subway sandwich or McDonald’s where there are ingredients and flavour other than sugary sauce.
The amount of food you get for the price is incredible! And the staff are very friendly and the quality is fantastic! Also they have bubble tea!Food: 5/5
