Really nice place to visit! Property has artisan market, food market, food truck, dog run area and a fenced kids playground!nWe tried the bannock beef burger, fries, bannock sausage and chicken strips. All the food was amazing!! Kids finished off with ice cream for dessert. Worth the stop if you are traveling through or visiting the area.
Great bannock smokie today!nTheir fries are also top notch.nThe young lad and lady that were working were great, super friendly and helpful!nBarriere is lucky to gain such a gem, and I can't wait to come back and visit again!
Bought the smoked salmon chowder, the Chop n Block bison burgers, chorizo’s and other treats. So delicious. Some really nice ideas for Christmas shopping. I will visit often. Such a great addition to Barriere and so lucky to have more options in town.
So proud to see my community participating in the local economy. Big things ahead for Simpcw. What a great selection of fun foods. Can’t wait for the summer market! The caramel coffee soft chews are to die for.
Would have liked to see more local merchandise from Simpcw. There are so many locals who make things such as beaded earrings, lanyards, pine needle baskets, bags, clothing, art, and so much more. Was also expecting there to be more Simpcw/local food options. I noticed most of the food was hispanic based and not local. I understand they are a business and need items for profit but as a local market, this is far from meeting expectations. I appreciated the local beef vendors Rainers but otherwise was disappointed. Hope to see more local artisan items in the near future. I believe locals/band members would appreciate the opportunity to provide input on these items as well.
