I always appreciate the friendliness and service here. And it makes me happy that by mindfully making a choice to shop here I support many in their communities.
Friendly staff, very interesting items that you don't often see every day at the 'big box stores', these are hand-made items that are unique. A bit pricey, but I suppose import & export, duty & taxes all play a role increasing the cost. And oftentimes the individuals making the items at the other end of this chain receive very little of the overall cost these items generate...thats just MHO, I am not the one to ask when it comes to this sort of information. But, all that notwithstanding, it is a lovely store.
Great selection of fair trade crafts, jewelry, coffee, tea, art and textiles from around the world. What an amazing way to support people from different nations by allowing them to make amazing products and then paying them a fair wage for their hard work!
