Temple B'nai Tikvah does not discriminate against views or opinions posted on this page, but we reserve the right to remove any comment for the reasons listed below. We will not edit or modify posts to remove unacceptable content; we will simply delete such comments in their entirety. Some of the reasons we may remove a comment include:
Abusive, vulgar, obscene, racist, threatening, or harassing comments
Libel, slander, or personal attacks of any kind, including the use of offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups.

Spam, including content that promotes products or services or that contains gratuitous links or solicitations of business
Political campaigning or lobbying

Allowing any other person or entity to use your identification for posting or reviewing comments
Chain letters or pyramid schemes
Infringing on the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
Advocating illegal activity
Violating any local, provincial, or federal laws
Temple B'nai Tikvah reserves the right to close comments at any time on its Facebook page. It also retains the right to ban a user who repeatedly violates its social media policy terms.
The Temple makes every effort to monitor its Facebook page and its website on a regular basis for inappropriate or defamatory content. Comments or content submitted after regular business hours, Monday through Friday, might only be reviewed on the next business day or as soon as is reasonably possible. In keeping with Temple policy and Jewish custom, no Temple work including social media monitoring or posting, is conducted over the sabbath (from sunset Friday night to sunset Saturday night) or on Jewish holidays.
Temple B'nai Tikvah reserves the right to report any comments that imply harm or imminent danger to the poster or to others. By submitting a comment for posting, you accept that Temple B'nai Tikvah has the right to contact the appropriate authorities to report any suspicious activities, threats, or behaviours. You also agree that you will indemnify Temple B'nai Tikvah or its social media representatives against any damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of a claim by a third party relating to any material you have posted on any Temple B'nai Tikvah online platform.
