been with them for 13 years, 4 years at my current address and the last 2 months I have had no internet half the time and a numerous amount of poor customer service experiences that have led me to not be a customer with them any longer. the point of this company was to avoid rogers and Bell however they have become just as bad over the years that I might as well bypass them all together
The cable boxes lose connection all the time. 2 years of service, and they still won't offer assistance other than - "just unplug it and plug it back in". This is what passes as customer assistance and service? Not even a notion of offering anything to help the situation... 2 years of a product that has to be reset every 3 days. And paying for the privilege at the same time.
Been with them since 2010. Agree with the TSI mission to improve the service provider space. But customer service is no longer effective when problems arise. Since there isn’t much of a cost savings to be had any longer, why not get screwed by Bell or Rogers and at least get better up/down speeds?
I have been with TekSavvy for 11+ years, and I'm a very happy customer. I have read some of the reviews posted and I have a very much different experience. I never experienced any downtime and any issues I experienced where I had to engage tech support, they were always able to resolve all issues during my calls. At one point, my call got disconnected and tech support I was working with called me back to continue working on my issue! So overall, I am very happy with their service. I feel I need to post this feedback as I want to give deserved credit where it's due.
I can't understand all these bad reviews because our experience over 6 years with them has been great. Yes, our modem kicks out sometimes, but I would opt for these guys over Rogers or Bell service any day. Their customer service is too notch.
We just moved and decided to use Tejsavvy as our ISP. Booked nice and early and paid a hefty deposit so we'd have internet when we moved in on the first. It's now the 5th and no internet and no idea when we'll get it. We were told a month it would be no problem. We've been getting the runaround now for almost a week. Time to get my money back and try someone else. 10 days and counting with no internet and no answers. Don't use this company for any reason. Final edit:after 12 days of begging them to come and hook up our internet we were told to go with another internet service provider. One quick call to Cogeco and they are coming to hook us up tomorrow. For a discounted rate. I would use 2 cans and a string before I would deal with this company again.
I just want to say the fibre tech in Mike , Blenheim here provided above the call of customers service this afternoon to me . Sent a Blenheim team out especially to replace a modem that was faulty . It’s service like that makes me stay with this amazing internet provider !!!! Amazing customer service thanks
Mostly satisfied. I get playback error messages now and then. It would be great if my phone could be billed with my TV and internet so I could receive 1 bill per month.
Overall great service, although the last week our 5g service has been cutting out and our network has been unstable throughout the day. Normally great service and no problems with connection.
UPDATE: January 27, 2023 TekSavvy sent me a letter threatening to bill me for the I told them not to send. They refused to close my account when I repeatedly, told them to. I am taking legal action against TekSavvy for violations of the Consumer Protection Act and the Human Rights Code because the conversations were recorded and they knew who I was. UPDATE: January 11, 2023 TekSavvy has credited my account and I am now waiting on a response has to when they will send someone to pick up the modem I asked not to be delivered, which I received yesterday. On Friday January 6, 2023, they said I would get my modem on Monday January 9,2023. On January 9, 2023, I was told it would be January 11, 2023 and when I addressed that, I had to put their representative in his place because he had no business being in customer service. It took three or maybe four requests to have the service cancelled, this prior to the modem being shipped. Now I have to wait for my money to be returned because of incompetent staff who lied. I probably will not get my money back for two weeks because they want me to return the modem they sat on while my request to cancel was ignored and then they said they would mail a cheque instead of crediting my credit card. After one call, I walked into a Rogers store and got my modem, a better deal and twenty minutes later had internet and TV for the same price as Teksavvy. TekSavvy, we'll take your money, lie and screwup, and then make you wait to pay you back.
