We stopped for a drink. And we will definitely be coming back. A fun atmosphere complimented with a great attentive staff!! We got margaritas which were fabulous. Also got a order of chips salsa/gauc/queso just as great! Definitely recommend coming here on a nice day, they have a huge patio as well as the outdoor/indoor feel with the massive doors!
Super friendly service, we had Kinsilzea as our waitress, plus, great margaritas. I love the atmosphere- Day of the Dead. They also have wonderful American meals -like the big boy type of burger. Definitely coming here again!
We went for a late lunch on Sunday, February 27, 2022. 4 couples at the bar, 2 tables with couples. Clean restaurant,with fun, colorful atmosphere. Wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews....but we loved it!! Completely opposite of all the bad reviews. Service was on point. Freshly squeezed, lime margarita was fantastic. Salsa was flavorful, but not spicy at all. Chips were crispy, but not greasy. I had the steak tacos on soft, corn tortillas, and added Salsa to them. The rice and beans were good, too. I plan on going back for sure!! We utilized a coupon, and our bill would have been $34 for 2 meals and a margarita. Update on Sunday, May 1,2022: We came back a couple more times and today we received great service from Kenzie! My freshly sqeezed lime margarita was fantastic! Shout out to Ann!! I enjoyed my taco bowl, which is not typical with taco seasoning, but rather the ground beef had more of an au just flavor! I recommend Sunday's for the great service!
Outside patio is FANTASTIC. Let’s start there. This is a great addition to main st in Sussex. The ordering process, QR code, and service is what could use some improvement. This might be all personal preference but I think service is very important, even after Covid. I ordered via QR code. Food was delivered, however no one came around to ask how my food was. When my drink was empty I flagged server down and asked for another round of drinks. They couldn’t help, I needed to go back into the QR code to order. It seemed like more effort than it was worth. Payment is also part of the QR code….don’t expect a 20% tip for this level of service. Food was good and I will go back. Just would like to see a better effort in the service portion.
The patio is SO great! Live music, warm fire, and relaxing atmosphere? What else do you need? Aly was attentive and helpful, and recommended us great options for drinks and food. We will be coming back all summer long!
Love this place. First time here. Amazing food, drinks and only top shelf tequila highly recommend! Will be back! Heard summer beer gardens will be the best! I will be back for those! They start next week!
This place reminds me of when I lived in Southern California! I loved the decor, and the Ensalada I ordered was delicious. I am looking forward to dining her again so I can try another flavor of Margarita.
I purposely wanted to come here because the reviews weren’t that great. I want to give my honest opinion. Service was awesome! Drinks were strong and tasty! Food was alittle blan needs more spice! Ask for the green hot sauce if it needs flavor to you. Nothing was overly salty like the other reviews. I got the queso and chips which I think if they minced jalapeños and put it in the cheese it would make it soooo yummy! I also had the chicken tacos the meat needs spice it just needed flavor idk. But over all decent experience! Don’t let the bad reviews stop you! This place is new and the atmosphere is great! I had the blended lime margarita and I loved it! This place is gonna keep getting better! They are brand new in the middle of a pandemic and I think they are doing awesome given the lack of work ethic across the country.
My family has ordered takeout twice and both instances the food has been great and always hot and ready at pick up time!! I can’t speak for eating inside the restaurant but we have ordered the Birria Tacos both times and they are super yummy! Love the sauce they come with to dip. We are looking forward to trying other things on the menu. It’s so nice having a Mexican restaurant in the Sussex area. I really hope others will give this place a shot and take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. You really have to try things out on your own before judging!!
Gone twice ... trying different items on the menu. We wish you could pick different meats within the plates. Like three tacos. Would like to try chicken, beef and pork. But you can't. Can only order one type. Otherwise, staff is great and food was good.
