TD Canada Trust

Used to love my bank. Now I’m tempted to leave them even though I’ve been with them over a decade and a half. It’s pretty sad when clients can’t use the atm at the td bank in their town unless the banks open. Every other bank in town allows it. I end up having to travel one town over and hope that the stand alone atm isn’t out of service for the millionth time. I pay bank fees. I deserve to be able to access my own money anytime I want

Went to renew my mortgage here. I am a 25yr customer. I received the current rates 5.41 3yrs slightly over market. I mentioned I have another property up for renewal, I was willing to switch to TD and requested a better deal. Not only did they tell me they can’t do anything they told me they sent me the wrong rates originally because I’m not a new customer so I had to pay higher 5.62 3yrs. They would not honour the original rate they quoted me or respect me as a long term client. I’ve taken my business elsewhere for a better rate and will continue to do that for all my investments.

I don't usually like to complain about individual employees I prefer to be positive but my experience yesterday with this bank teller has bothered me.....was I rude? Why was she so disinterested? Was she having a bad Day?nI worked with the public for many years its not easy sometimes but I could always be polite and show concern for clients needs. Its a difficult time of year....be kind..Merry Christmas!

I have been trying to reach someone at this branch to schedule an appointment for over 2 weeks to no avail. I left 2 messages and called various numbers.nnNow I will have to drive to the city, to another branch entirely, so that I can close all of my TD accounts and switch to another bank. TD has high enough fees as is it but it always came with good service.... not as of late.nnI've had issues with this branch in the past, but they were rectified quickly and I was pleased with the result.nnThese days, I can't even get someone on the phone let alone get any assistance with banking.nn***update***nnContacted customer support, as directed, on 1 Aug 2022. Waiting to hear back.

Went to withdraw money from the ATM this morning before work. It seems they now lock the doors to the ATM and only open them for business hours. I guess this means we can't get our money on weekends either.
