Always a huge line… I’ve seen clients storm out due to horrible frustration waiting in line. Although the workers seem good, management needs to step up their game and get the proper number of people working behind the desk to serve the huge line of people waiting… Wanna get Covid… Come here and wait in line.
I see a lot of reviews about employees being rude here. I had a similar experience in this branch. I came to Montreal 7 years back as a student and when I went to open my account the lady asked me why am I in Canada. "Your country does not have programs like this?" This was her question. The painful appointment session was kind of harassment for me. I has two passports with me - one expired and one current. The stupid employee almost tried to accuse me of fraud because she didn't realise that a passport can expire. I made her realise that! After that I banked with this branch for 7 years without an issue. After banking with them for 7 years I went there for a line of credit and they offered me 16% interest rate despite having a very good credit score. I was suspicious about the rate and talked with another bank who offered me 6.9%. Seriously!!!!! I moved my salary account from this horrible branch. I am unpleasantly amazed and disappointed with the way they treat their customers.
This review is not about this branch but for the whole TD bank's customer service....I called the customer service number they picked it up after like 20-25 mins ...then I asked them to please direct me to the department who handles fraudulent matters the employee said I'm transferring your call to the fraud department it'll just take hardly a minute.... but as u can see I didn't waited for a minute but for a WHOLE HOUR !!!!!!!!....even after the hour I was not connected to the department and I got frustrated and hung up the call. I didn't find any other place to write a review so I did it here.... I hope this review reaches to the bank and they show concern about these long waiting periods as the customers are not sitting idle they too have work or stuff to do... Thanks.
If I could give less than one star, I would. Worst TD branch I ever used in my 24 years with this bank. They cancelled an already confirmed appointment; I took time off from work and got there in time for my appointment only to find out it was cancelled. The waiting time for any service is very long. Staff is not fully trained. Any service you ask for takes forever. I complained to TD ombudsman twice and only then, they provided me with statements they are legally obligated to provide. Avoid this branch at all cost!!!
I am very disappointed on the way one of the agent we met to at 5pm was so rude us! This guy does even have a little bit of manner in him! Honestly I think he should get himself a job where he doesn’t have to speak with people! Feeling sorry for your direct manager! Being knowledgeable shouldn’t make you arrogent it should actual make you proud!
No matter what time of the day you go, expect to wait a minimum of 10-15 minutes in line. Never enough tellers to manage the peak hours / days- no proper planning. Today I waited a good 25 minutes because the teller was discussing different phones deals with a client while there were 12 people waiting in line.
Many issues with this bank branch. Rude tellers and even worse managers. I highly advise staying away from this branch. They have cancelled appointments on me with no explanation. Would not cash a certified cheque as I didn't have a personal account with them at their branch. Have 2 business accounts though. Manager was so rude. Was supposed to receive a new TV after opening ANOTHER business account. Did not receive it. After inquiring was told I did not meet the requirements. No idea why not. Go to any other branch for your needs. Better yet, go to another bank altogether
One star is too much for this branch, such a disappointment. They can't or don't want to help with anything. Had an appointment at 10 a.m, one hour later a simple transaction hasn't been done.
