Tavern United Grand Forks

Horrible customer service. Tried to explain to manager and she did not care or even apologize for our horrible service. She actually tried to defend it. Never actually got to order as we were told by a server it was not her area and there was nothing she could do to help us.

Been coming here fairly regularly for about 6 months. Was a little rocky at first after recent management changes. The service has greatly improved and staff is fun and friendly. The specials are pretty good especially on wing nights.

Update: in recent months, the quality of service has started to decline. In my opinion, the times that it's been poor, the wait staff have been short staffed. It also seems that they changed their recipe for their pulled pork sandwiches for the worse. They have added wings to the menu, however, and they've always been good. At the time of me writing this review, they do buy one get one for $1 burgers on Mondays, and have a special called Morgan Mondays (any drink with Captain Morgan is $2). The food has always been good. Their burgers and pulled pork sandwiches are decent. The service is usually pretty decent, but sometimes lacks, especially during extremely busy times (a Sioux hockey game, for example).

I have always had a good time here but tonight I paid 13.99 for chicken strips and fries ! Guess I should have looked at the price first.

I've been going to tavern for about a year now and every few months the service gets worse evertime I go. The food quality has gone down too. I have received my food cold, wrong orders multiple times in a night, slow service and recently as of last Thursday undercooked chicken wings that unfortunately gave a friend and myself food poisoning that had the same symptoms of salmonella. I used to really like it but It progressively got worse.
