Story

Tatamagouche's very own organic craft brewery!

Many years ago, a two-headed calf came to Tatamagouche. We think it's no coincidence that he happened to show up here. After all, Tatamagouche is a place of many strange and wonderful things. It's a little town with big ideas. A town that's always looking forward while still keeping an eye on the past.

This two-headed place is our home and it inspired us to make good beer for good people. Beer that just happens to be a mix of the traditional and the unexpected.

We are the Tatamagouche Brewing Company.

Tatamagouche Brewing Company is an absolute powerhouse in the Maritime craft beer scene — they truly know what they’re doing. From the amazing artwork and labels to their signature hunter orange and brown color scheme, everything feels distinct and well thought-out. The space itself is adorable, with welcoming patios and super friendly staff, and the selection of beer is huge.nnIt’s a spot I come back to again and again. Even at my local bar, whenever one of their brews is on tap, it sells out almost immediately — people love this beer. Their merch is also top tier. I saw new hoodies posted on Facebook the day before my visit, and when I stopped in the next day, I wasn’t the only one scooping one up — they were clearly a hit!nnHighly recommend making this a stop along your travels. Plus, it’s very dog-friendly, which makes it even better.
Great place for a great beer! Either to go or to enjoy in the taproom. They have a good amount of event, but our favourite one is the drop in trivia; casual and fun! Doesn’t feel too competitive and the way the prizes are set up makes it really fun even for casual trivia people like us!
Great beer, nice covered deck on the side to sit out on and friendly service. Just what we needed after a long day of riding on the motorcycle. We were able to walk here from the Train Station Inn.
What a fantastic find on our Nova Scotia trip to experience the Fall. We enjoyed a flight of beers here today and Rhydian at the Brewery was amazing. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and so helpful recommending the beers for our palate. Highly recommend
Fantastic local brewery! Good selection of beer on tap and off sales. They also have wine and other drinks for those not wanting a beer. Very friendly staff.
