One of the best shawarma place in Richmond hill. They have sufficient spaces to fit in a medium crowd too . The staffs are properly groomed . The restaurant is very hygienic. Both the individual chicken shawarma and the plate shawarmas that I ordered were definitely a bang for the buck. They offer two shawarmas for less than $10 without compromising the taste . Would love to visit this place all over again . Kudos team !
I ordered a chicken plate and sandwich to feed two. The sandwich tastes better than the plate, but both are not very good. The sauce is too dry and the rice was stale. When I use to live in Scarborough there were quite a few Shawarma restaurants that served some good food. My comparison would be Empire Shawarma and Tasty Shawarma and Falafel not to be confused with this one
Chicken shawarma plate and salad wasn't bad at all, made quickly and fairly priced. update: sandwich is also great and only 7$! And they do pick up the phone unlike some reviews say
We ordered the 2 shawarma for $10 deal. The price was good, but that's unfortunately where it ends. The chicken was so dry, there was barely any sauce and flavour, and the even the pita tasted stale. It was a really disappointing shawarma - possibly the worst that I've had - and I definitely won't be visiting here again. My advice: spend a few more dollars and get a much better meal somewhere else.
Got the Shawarma sandwich. Not the typical shawarma toppings I was expecting. Only came with Lettuce pickles and tomatoes. Chicken didn't taste that fresh either. Overall it was ok and the price was good. Restaurant has a lot of seating and looks clean.
Tried it for the first time today. Most Shawarma places are hit or miss. This place, in my opinion, was a hit! I found it very tasty, generous portions and good service. Look forward to coming back since it’s just around the corner.
The place is called Tasty Shawarma and was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon, so must be good, right? For starters, a simple shawarma in a pita wrap and wedges on the side takes them 20 minutes to prepare. I understand there are folks waiting for orders, but these are popular fast food items that they should have ready in minutes. Clearly they are understaffed in the kitchen. While I waited, I noticed the tables were dirty and the place doesn't look or feel welcoming. The wrap was awful. The meat is dry, bland and not fresh. The veggies were pretty good, but the sauce didn't taste good at all.The pita is not warmed up and tastes like cardboard. I've had worst shawarma but this is right up there. At least the wedges were good, tasted fresh and crispy, but those are hard to screw up. Prices are good, but this is barely food court quality fare. Would not repeat.
Well trained staffs, despite it was really busy they handled everyone’s order appropriately. I ordered Mixed shawarma plate and got my order with no longer wait, the food was delicious and the lovely presentation of veggies and salad make gratified. Highly recommended
For a dinner one night, me and my friend decided to try Tasty Shawarma. We ordered a simple beef shawarma combo, however, although it was completely empty, we had to wait about 15mns. When we received our food, the bread was burnt, the wrap in its entirety was bare dry. The meat was semi-decent, and I believe with some small tweaks, they can easily become a 4 star restaurant. Friendly staff, nice looking place and a below mid shawarma.
Tried out tasty Shawarma because my friend suggested giving it a go. I would say it's pretty darn good, but definitely not the best that I had. Got the beef and chicken shawarma; meat was quite tender and tasty! Garlic-ky sauce with a tasty hot sauce. Would definitely come back here if I was in the area where I'm looking to get a decent bang for my buck. 4/5 cause its decent quality for a good price. Potential banger
