Disgusting over priced garbage. Do not eat at this dirty rude hell hole. We ordered 3 combination plates at 11 dollars each. The bill came and we were charged 15 per plate. When I asked Melissa the waitress why we were over charged. She was very rude and said she forgot to tell us that the prices went up. She lied to us and was just rude. The fried rice is soggy and tasteless. The shrimp lo main had no shrimp. The duck sauce is in a dirty container that smells like wet socks. The waitress did not like that we just moved here a short 4 yrs ago. So I guess we did not get the local hospitality. Welcome to Houlton. Never going back. Wasn't bad per se but I got the shrimp chow mein combo order number 31 and got no mein. I'm not opposed to going back again but this'll be the first Asian restaurant I confirm the order contents of before making a decision instead of relying on the name of the dish to tell me what's in it.

I just had the most sorry looking and tasting fried rice ever. $31.86 for 3 small servings. Normally, as an Asian household we make our own Asian food, but we have no electric or running water at the moment so I decided to drive 45 minutes each way to get food here because it had decent reviews. That was a HUGE mistake. Upon arriving, I wasn’t greeted even though I saw 3 employees-who all made eye contact with me and waited at the counter. Once I was finally helped, I was simply told my total and asked to pay. The man that helped me wasn’t wearing a mask. I stupidly didn’t check my food before leaving and got home to see this. 3 servings of small fried rice at most places we go to are closer to about $15-20, so this is grossly overpriced to begin with. I just assumed it would be good, again because of the decent reviews. We’ve lived all over the US and England, and this is by far the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. My two children refused to eat it. Cubbed raw carrots and raw celery in crunchy rice? What on earth... it’s laughable at best. Avoid this place.

I definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Americanized Chinese food. Their eggroll's are excellent. Great job

Got some chicken strips and so far two pieces are very dry old pieces of chicken in the batter, very disapointed. Last time for me to order there.

Been going here regularly for over 30 years and never had an issue, was so excited for the border to open up to go back. When we arrived there is no buffet, but we decided to stay and get plates. When our food arrived, our portions were less than a third of the regular size, but the issue came when we found a black hair in one of our plates we are all blondes. We showed the server and he took the plate away only to return 30 seconds later with the same plate saying he removed the hair for us, we told him to take it back and make a new one thought that was common sense. The server came back with a new plate a while later and was expecting a thank you when he said he wasn't going to charge us for the extra plate. We informed him we wouldn't be paying for that one meal. When we paid for our meal the owner who has known us for over 30 years told us it wasn't their hair and we would not get a free plate again. Calling us liars and trying to get free food, even tho he knew us when we walked in and we have never had a complaint before. Unfortunately we will not be going back again.

Legit Best Chinese place I have ever had in a long time!! Last night my teriyaki beef was most definitely over cooked and disgusting and so rubbery I couldn’t even chew it. But all around any other time I have gotten food there not once was I disappointed! Other then last nights one time I had over cooked food this place is by far the best in Maine in my opinion!!

I once asked some one if they ever experienced this... "Have you ever had something so good that you went back to the place you had gotten it to have it again.. and it just wasn't the same?" That is not this place. Everytime I've come here it has been the best Chinese I've had and it is always just as good.

Although it is out of our way, we greatly enjoy making the special trip when we can to Taste of China! Food is EXCELLENT in every way. Plus -- the windows, window sills and entire establishment is CLEAN. Very enjoyable!
