This is clearly a successful company, they represent significant US companies like Cadco, etc. For Cadco, I imagine, it's a good set up, to have a Canadian distributor that sells to outlets like Canada Food Equipment. The problem for consumers is underlined by what happened to me when I purchased through Canada Food Equipment a Cadco oven, a $2,000 pizza oven by Unox, a brand that Cadco owns. Long story short, the glass door on the oven shattered within hours of its first field use, even though I had tempered it by running it for a couple hours before use. The explosion of glass all over my staff scared the hell out of them, understandably, to the point where they didn't want to use the oven. I asked Cadco who referred me to Tarrison who referred me to Canada Food Equipment who referred me to the GM of Tarrison who told me they would replace the glass but not the oven, even though I said my staff were afraid to use it. So, if you're looking for a product that may work well but may explode and don't care if anyone goes to bat for you, do what I did: shop at Canada Food Equipment for a Cadco product distributed in Canada through Tarrison, where the easy decision is never the right decision.
Friendly staff, great customer service and the shop staff really know their stuff. Highly recommended!
