This parkade is conveniently close to my work site and isn't a bad monthly price. It also has plug ins which have been very nice with the cold temperatures we've already had this fall. However, the stairwells are continually dirty and the concrete stairs are crumbling away in many spots. A little TLC would go a long way here.
What a dump. I’ve had three break-ins despite my not having left any valuables in the car here as have other people. Why is there not security here? What exactly is it that we are paying for in order to park here? I park here because I have to, not because I want to. This neighbourhood has few parking options and Target Parking knows it. As a result, they take advantage of people. To add to this, they hired rude contractors to conduct work in the parkade back in June of 2022. One of them complained to me, after I came home from an 11-hr shift, for supposedly driving over his hose it was dark and stormy outside, the parkade is dark at the best of times, and the hose was similar in colour when compared to the parkade’s surface. Not to mention, the hose wasn’t marked or in a cordoned-off area. When he confronted me about it, I said: “I’m sorry. I didn’t see it, but maybe you guys should properly mark your equipment with fluorescent paint markings, cordon-off the area where the hose is, or protect it with cladding/insulation.” He didn’t seem to appreciate my constructive feedback so he simply walked away and responded with: “yeah, yeah, yeah…” in an obnoxious tone of voice. These are the kind of unprofessional subcontractors that Target Parking hires? Wow. Sorry, but we are paying customers there and contractors need to work around people who are coming and going from work themselves. On a final note, the stairwells are infested with garbage, dirt, standing water, and stolen remnants---from peoples’ cars---that have been discarded in the stairwells by thieves. They break-in to cars and don’t even bother to take most of the stuff after trashing your windows. Senseless. The overall parkade hasn’t been swept or washed in well over a year, either, and I don’t know when the lines were last painted. I question the efficacy of the cameras in the parkade, as well. By all means, if you can, park elsewhere because the safety and security of your car and your person are of little interest to this organization.
I pay a monthly pass and parked in the wrong area ONCE and got towed without a warning or a call. Took forever to get a hold of anyone and finally when I did, the guy that patrols the parkade simply said that I was not on his list so he couldn't call me to tell me to move my car even though I pay a monthly pass? How am I not on the list if I've been paying monthly since October?? Then I hear that people get many tickets for not paying and gets away with it? Will find another parkade ASAP. Though it is cheap compared to other parkades but not worth it at all as they don't care about paying customers and they don't maintain their parkade whatsoever.
My car got broke into when parked in the basement level, my dash cam, portable battery, usb charging cable, and even a jar of mints were all taken. Management says their surveillance camera has been down for months, so the cops couldn't do anything about it. This place is a relatively affordable parking lot in the university area but it's definitely not as relatively safe. The stairwell has always been very filthy and sketchy, filled with hobo bags, needles, trash, and the smell of pee.
There is only one pro of this place and that is it’s probably the cheapest place the park around the hospital. The cons are that it’s filthy, the parkade spaces are quite small, I’ve had lots of friends have break ins there, there is always garbage in the stairways. I will continue to park there due to the prices but could definitely use better upkeep.

The machine is not user friendly. The parking building is crumbling, has trash, alcohol bottles, needles on the stairs. This building across from University Hospitalis unkempt and the company is located in Toronto. The machine is antiquated and will charge you wrongly. I contacted the company regarding my charges several times to no avail. I emailed the company within 30 minutes and 3 weeks later, I received a response from Rick stating that I should have contacted him on the day of the incident and now it is too late to help. I replied him and now he is ignoring my emails. My money is paying their salary. I wonder what their mission, vision and values were when they started this business. I will call the BBB.
I understand the price might be tempting....but if you are a person looking to rob a car, or take car parts, this place is perfect. The cameras in the stairwells are for show the DO NOT work, its not busy and its secluded so your car is actually a really easy target, be careful! Awful place DO NOT PARK HERE. The money you will save will inevitably be spent on some sort breakin, or stolen car parts i.e. catalytic converters.
Wish I could give it even less stars. First of all the place is absolutely filthy. I've encountered numerous needles, broken glass, used condoms and even human feces in the stairwells. Which judging by the neighborhood, I am not totally surprised. However, even when emailing the head office, these items are never removed or cleaned up in even a remotely acceptable time period. I never felt safe when parking here... I paid for a reserved stall on the main floor while I was on a wait-list for hospital parking and for what I paid, I expected better. One morning 1030 am, on a week day, I pulled into my spot. As I was getting out of my car I was approached by a man who threatened me with a weapon and took my car.... IF YOU HAVE TO PARK HERE, BE CAREFUL and no matter the time or day, make sure you are aware of your surroundings.
