We love Tandoor & Curry and my family is a bunch of foodies from India!. So when I was planning a small family event at my house I jumped at the chance to get takeout from them. Long story short, Sukhi made a slightly complicated process totally easy and very pleasant! And the food was a huge hit with all my guests. Such a good experience! Highly recommend!
Food from the heart, and local right here in Acton! Look forward to Fridays when your world can get jam packed with flavor after visiting this local family run business for late lunch or dinner! Huge menu, quickly but soulfully prepared, and of course delicious flavors.
I've lived in Acton for over a year now and kept seeing this truck every time we went to the Indian store. Finally decided to try it out this weekend. The food was extremely bland! The chicken in both the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Biriyani was dry and overcooked. Never getting food from them again. There are way better Indian Restaurants around the area.
Amazing food and really nice staff. I couldn't shut up about how good my meal was, and this will be the first food truck I proactively try to find again. Keep up the great work.
My favorite place to get Indian food! The biryani portions are amazing and the lamb curries are the best! Great prices too! The guy at the truck is also very nice and friendly. I like to order online before I leave for work and set the time I’ll be there to pick up. Easy to use and works great!
We have driven by Tandoor and Curry on Wheels for at least a year when at the Acton location, BIG MISTAKE on our part. Finally, I remembered they were there, called my much better half, and said, "babe, Tandoor, and Curry on Wheels is on the way home," we went for it. Hands down the best Tandoor and Curry food we've sunk our teeth into. Online or was simple, we had a question regarding an item, and they called to confirm and answer our question. We ordered WAY more than we were going to eat, and thank goodness we did because it was FANTASTIC! Somosa's are spot-on; samosa chaat was out of this world, kathi rolls delicious, lamb vindaloo was phenomenally fabulous, chicken tikka masala was to masala for, and the chicken curry disappointed NO ONE EVER! Bottom line, you will NOT be disappointed. First-time order lifetime guest. Thank you, Tandoor and Curry on Wheels, for an incredible first-time experience.
We have had the pleasure of having Jaswant prepare Indian cuisine for us for over 20 years. We have tried others, but always return to Jaswant. The food is by far the best Indian food in the area. My weekly drive to his food truck is always well worth the effort.
We stopped by to grab food when they were at Weston Nurseries. Delicious food!
Really poor first experience. Placed an online order and was waiting to pick it up when a rude woman walked right in front of me. When I told her that I was waiting, she said she had a Door dash order and then just ignored me. The workers in the van ignored me as well. When I asked why they did they, they acted like they didn't hear. On my top of that, the chicken biryani was extremely dry and bland. I won't be back.
We -- including my 10 and 7 year olds -- look forward to any Saturday that Tandoor and Curry on Wheels truck comes to the Weston garden shop in Hingham. We started getting Saturday takeout from the food truck before Christmas and are now "regulars." We live in Scituate, and the South Shore does not have much in the way of non-American/European dining -- much less that of the quality of Tandoor and Curry of Wheels. Thank you for coming to us every weekend! I'm already planning this Saturday's order!
