OK place to tan, close to home. I've never had to wait. Unfortunately not much for air circulation fans in most rooms, just the useless ones attached to the beds. Won't let me keep my lotion there, because it's "not a brand they sell" so I'm having to tote that around, even though the payment for tanning comes out of my account every month. But it's convenient, the staff at the counter can be pretty good to deal with after a long day at work... so there's that
I've only been going for a month but the staff is always above & beyond nice. Probably a different girl each time. I did go once where I guess the membership system was down, the girl working was super nice & sweet considering this other customer was be littling her! I felt bad. I should have stepped in and just said ITS NOT HER FAULT A SYSTEM IS DOWN. I've worked retail before. Computers don't always work. The girl was doing her best, I guess her boss was on her way. But this customer mind you prob early to mid 20s acting liek a Karen ripping this girls off. Kept yelling I'm not waiting 20 mins to tan, considering it's normal to to have to wait sometimes. This girl has no sympathy for the girl working. She kept saying she had no experience, how bad she was at her job. The only staff girl working, she was doing her best. She wasn't getting mad back. She actually looked sad. They have a sign yelling at the staff won't be tolerated. Yet even reading these reviews. These ppl sound so entitled. Don't blame the staff, go to corporate if the machines are broken. The staff are just minimum wage employees trained to do their job aka check ppl in. Not fix the machines themselves. If the computer system isn't working. Oh well! It's not the end of the world is you don't tan for 1 day. But reading these reviews & the time I've witnessed a YOUNG girl throw a fit over having to wait 20 mins to tan when was out of this other young girls control. It saddens me how low our society is. You can't even trust reviews because a lot of the time it's ppl who are delusional in their experience & were the 1s in the fault but most reviews are rewritten by Karen's these days. Trust me I witnessed a 20 something year old throw a fit while the staff looked scared & kept calling her boss. She kept checking the system too. She ended up finally getting the girl a bed. But what the girl was asking her was basically for free mins! Which if you've worked retail sometimes you can get fired for! Unless you have approval. But this girl didn't wanna wait for that. Like I said I've probably gone 5+ times usually a different girl. ALL completely nice, helpful right away. Said thank you & have a nice day etc... if you're rude to staff, you shouldn't expect them to be nice back but again in my experience the girl just looked scared/sad not mean or rude. She was doing her best, while this girl yelled at her. Honestly I would have stepped in but I thought this 20 something year old would have taken a swing at me honestly lol thats how angry this CUSTOMER was over having to wait 20 mins! So be careful reading the reviews.
Was great! I need it quick touch up, didn’t make an appointment and loved how fast and efficient my experience was at the studio, good service and nice product
Staff is generally rude and equipment often doesn't work. When you mention to the staff that the equipment isn't working, you get attitude. Have had issues with the spray tan not working, and fans not working on the tanning beds. The staff doesn't seem to care or want to do anything to fix it. EDIT: To clarify, my friend and I both had similar experiences, and her more recent experience prompted me to also be vocal about my past experiences. I appreciate the owner's response and will be in touch with her with more details.Service: Tanning
The staff is always nice to me and the equipment seems well kept. Lately there's been some waiting due to demand during the summer but overall good atmosphere and interactions. Would be nice if they had a location in South Granville/Fairview area.
This business makes me miss living in Yaletown, where Sunscape Tanning is. The experiences I’ve had at Tan de Soleil have left me feeling exhausted, exasperated and frustrated. Their equipment seems to always malfunction. I would say of the last 3-4 times I’ve been to Tan de Soleil, each time something has gone wrong. The spray tan machine is always on the fritz, and the staff never seem to know what is wrong, and they treat you poorly when you ask when it will be fixed. When you pay $80+/month for a service, you’d think it would be valid to want to actually USE that service and have the machines work. That hasn’t been the case. The staff are rude and have attitude when you express your concerns. It makes me stressed out to even go there, because of it. Just today, the spray tan machine wasn’t working and when I tried to work with the staff member to resolve it… again, I received attitude. Add today’s “machine malfunction” to a handful of other times I’ve visited the tanning salon… it seems to be the norm here. I’d pass on this place.
I haven't been here in awhile... but I used to tan here and never gave them a review! In my experience, the staff were super knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The equipment is great. Facility is clean. Great location and good-run business. Perhaps once COVID has subsided I will be back!Service: Tanning

Old and dirty. I have seen nicier floors in car service shops and you are not expected to step on it barefooted. Stand up "bed" is very basic, no music, no controls.
This is a favorite tanning destination. Decently priced packages read the cancellation policy and a variety of lay down and stand up beds also a spray tan booth. Clean, cool, and never a wait to get in.
