Was in the area seeing a client and needed lunch. Wanted to support a local business and am happy I stopped in to try Talbot Street Grill. Had the smash burger with fries. Fries well cooked and hot, so fresh. Burger had nice taste and we'll cook. Crispy edges. Will recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. Shop local.
Smash burger and small fries was perfect! Happy with the toppings on the burger, and the fries had just the correct amount of salt. No changes needed to that. Looking forward to trying other dishes. I walked up and ordered from the counter. Might try their online option next time just to compare things.
Nice little place to stop whenever Im coming through Cayuga and looking for a quick bite to eat. Have had the chicken sandwich a couple times here, and its been excellent. My son went for the Dill pickle poutine today and said that he thoroughly enjoyed it. Decent amount of parking out front, nice grassy area with tables to eat at, and friendly staff! The pager system here is also pretty efficient for picking up your orders.
Stopped here out of the blue and couldn’t have been happier! I ordered a smash burger with cheese and it was literally perfect. Delicious smashed patty, fresh toppings and the perfect bun. Highly recommend this place.
Waited 25 minutes for an order of fries and regular poutine. There was one person in front of us. The staff were yelling at each other, the fries were undercooked and there was very little gravy. Unfortunately I didn’t discover this until we were on our way home.nEdit: In answer to your reply . I rang the bell once as requested on your sign. If you don’t want the bell rung then remove your sign that that says “Ring bell when you are ready to order.” .There was definitely only one person ahead of us. The rest were online orders and 3 others showed up and picked up their orders right away. If you can’t take the heat stay out of the kitchen.
