Tailwinds Bar & Grill in Rama is a true star in Rama. The interior decor adds a touch of character and creates a welcoming ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. We visited the place on Friday evening and enjoyed the live music. The Beef Brisket Sandwich and Chicken Rigate Pasta were exceptional! The Beef Brisket Sandwich was a delightful combination of tender beef, flavorful sauce, and perfectly toasted bread. The Chicken Rigate Pasta was with the right balance of flavors and textures. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was the perfect way to end our meal. The service at Tailwinds Bar & Grill was top-notch. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Parking: Lots of free parking.
Clean with nice ambiance and atmosphere and not overly loud so you can have relaxing conversations. They also have nice covered outdoor patio seatings for the nicer days, but they're very popular and usually full if you come during lunch rush. You'd have more luck with inside seatings if you don't want to wait. Price is fair for the portion that you get. They have good selections of food and drinks that would satisfy wide array of taste buds.
Very memorable and an excellent experience overall, especially if you like to watch float planes land and takeoff from the lake. The food and service was exceptional and a good value. Highly recommended A+++
Nice and relaxing atmosphere on the patio, watching the float planes take-off and land. The food was excellent. We had the Frenched pork schnitzel and a Tailwind club sandwich.Food: 5/5
We love coming here especially in the summer as their patio is so beautiful. You can watch float planes land and take off right from your table. The food is awesome and the service from Megan was excellent! I had the fish and chips and my husband had the ribs. Both meals were ho, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place any time of year.
Unique restaurant on the water where you can see planes landing and taking-off. Great food! Highly recommend!
Had a late breakfast last weekend, Jan. 1st, with 9 of us. The restaurant wasn’t busy. Service was ok…the waitress was friendly and courteous but forgetful. Food was hot and very tasty ! Portion size was good for the price charged. Would definitely recommend and go back in the summer to enjoy the view of the planes landing.
We had a lovely lunch at Tailwinds to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Service was good as well as our meals. My only complaint is that our server did not tell us that the tip was already included. So when I got the debit machine i automatically allowed it to add another 20%. Now I have paid an extra 20 % on top of the first tip. I guess my fault for not looking at the bill closely but I feel we should have been told. I did contact Tailwind’s by email and commented on their Instagram to please check their email. Our server lucked out today and got a double tip on two of the bills. To date I have not received a response and for that reason I will not return.
Live music so was difficult to talk as we were seated right on front.. musician was great thoi. Waitress was super friendly and food was good. Bartender was helpful in suggesting low sugar drink.Food: 4/5
Great food, friendly staff, beautiful decor and a patio/backyard with unbeatable view. We had duck wings, chicken wings, club sandwiches and fish-and-chips. All delicious. You can either sit at the patio, enjoying the view while eating, or sit inside and have a walk on the field next to the patio. Parking: Plenty right in front
