Tails A Waggin

Both my labradors have been to tails a waggin for a full groom. They came out looking amazing and had a great time there. The youngest can be a little nervy with machines and loud noises but they made her completely feel at ease and they were both in a great mood when collected. Couldn't ask for a better job they'll definitely be going back regularly

Outstanding service. I am really happy with his wash and trim. Staff are super knowledgable and friendly. They gave me great advice on my dog biting his feet. Wash, cut and nail trim was a great, reasonable price. 100% would recommend.

Very happy with foods on offer for dogs. My girl Star had 11 pups so decided to supplement diet to help her out. Bought tails a waggin Food tray, pups and mum loved it.

Excellent dog grooming service We took our particularly smelly working dog Winston for wash and brush up today and he came out gleaming and smelling amazing The groomer was very attentive and patient. Would definitely recommend We will be back!

I love going to Tails a Waggin as they are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. The pet shop sells a wide variety of pet food and accessories, if you can’t see what you want then they will order it. They do a delivery service which is very handy if you can’t get to the shop. They also do pet grooming which my dog has experienced and she enjoyed .

Lovely friendly store. Knowledgeable staff and have gone above and beyond to help us with supplying food suitable for out allergy ridden pup! It's our big dog's favourite place.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I needed to write this regarding an incident which happened with our dog Riley, on Thursday 21st July. I took Riley to ‘Tails a Waggin’, based in Mold, to receive a full groom - this was our first experience using these groomers. Since Riley is a rescue, I had informed the owner of Riley’s slight nervousness towards men before his appointment. Riley has been groomed previously, having no issues on these occasions. After dropping him off, I drove home. Shortly after, I received a phone call to inform me that they had some bad news and that Riley had jumped out of their first-floor window and run away. As you can imagine, my heart sank. Riley was on the run for over 4-hours in a state of shock and fear with no collar on or ID tag he is chipped. I still cannot understand why Riley was not secured or how he had managed to jump out of a window whilst in the groomers’ care - a question which remains unanswered. Riley has suffered both physical and mental damage from this incident and is now under veterinary care. I am extremely saddened and angered at the pain and upset caused to our dog. The ‘Tails a Waggin’ Facebook page claims they are “Proud to be Mold’s best high street pet shop”. I do not understand how they can claim this when they have let this happen to a dog in their care. We are lucky in this instance. Riley could have quite easily died after he jumped from the first-floor window, hit by passing motorists, or from exhaustion during the hours he spent on the run. I have contacted the owner and requested he explains how this happened and that he makes changes to ensure this never happens again. His response has been completely unsatisfactory saying it was just an accident and they will ‘look into adding a mechanism to the window’ and that is why I am letting as many people know as possible. They have also removed the facility to do a review on their Facebook page….. I think that says it all!

First time here with Sadie my 2yr old Cockapoo. She came in badly needing a bath after swimming in the river and rolling in mud. She looked amazing after Alisha had given her a full groom. We have only recently moved to Wales and so happy we found this groomers. Would highly recommend xx

Really friendly staff, happy dogs and a good environment. Looking forward to getting her regular ear trims!

Had an appointment for our dogs to have their nails/glands done.Also purchased some of their own grain free dog food,plenty of choice to choose from.Shop well stocked and clean and very friendly and caring staff!Will call in again!
