Taconic Dental Arts

My one star is given to the horrible hygienist and the horrible experience that I endured while at my appointment with my three children. What kind of person would have the decency to tell a 1.5 year old infant to be quiet for being too loud? I would say that she is a pretty moronic person to not be able to understand that an infant will tend to scream and shout out of nowhere. In addition to the lack of knowledge of children (especially how the majority of the clients at this place are CHILDREN), the said "hygienist" also had the decency to tell my other daughter that her teeth were the worst that she has ever seen in her life. Now, if I wanted her opinion, I would ask the dentist because they are the ones that had proper schooling, hence the title dentist and not hygienist. I found that it was really rude for her to tell my daughter that rude remark. I am now going to search if this place has a listing under the Better Business Bureau so I can file a complaint there. I really do hope that the owner of Taconic sees this review and disciplines the wack hygienist. Either fire her or tell her to take some lessons on how to treat clients.

I cannot say enough about the staff here. They are all wonderful and everyone takes the time to make sure I fully understand what they are doing and why it is necessary/important.

I just recently started taking my boys (12 and 8) to this practice and everyone is so friendly and welcoming that they weren't even nervous to go in by themselves. This is a first for me. Thank you.

My hygienist is always on time, and is extremely professional. She and Dr. Schmidt treat me with respect by actively listening to my questions and concerns. The office staff are very friendly and helpful when I have questions.

great dentist! comfortable clean waiting area but i never had to wait long. always very kind and helpful. no problems with getting appointments when needed. my little girl looks forward to her visits and cant wait to have her teeth cleaned.
