As a Pacific Northwest native, Taco Time is part of my DNA. A regional chain that I have visited many, many times since I was a child, still holds strong associations to times and people in my life, and that drives cravings for me into middle age. I moved away from the area last year, but Taco Time still has its hold on me and when I returned to Seattle, a visit was a definite must. I say this recognizing that my experience at these restaurants has suffered for several years with out-of-date and run down buildings, checked-out staff, and poorly done food. I’ve walked away disappointed from a Taco Time more times than I can count in the last 10+ years. But my trip to this Factoria location was terrific and a reminder of what I once loved about this little chain of guilty pleasures. This newly renovated location has a pleasant vibe, is actually a pleasant place to eat, and nailed every item I ordered. Each item was served hot and fresh ingredients, with near perfect execution. Everything was crispy and flavorful and so enjoyable. I loved it. The service was even a step above relative to other locations where employees seem pretty checked outed. Now, I know that Taco Time isn’t for everyone. It’s still fast food and isn’t artisan or authentic. If you like Taco Time, this location is a great example of what the chain used to be, can be, and that every one of their locations should be.
I typically go through the drive-through. Workers/lovely beings are always nice and quick! I love the veggie classic burrito and habanerro burrito. I sub the meat with Mexican fries and have it smothered with enchilada sauce and cheese. Mmm. So happy they have Vegetarian options! Vegetarian options: I appreciate the fressness of their vegetarian options. This is the only place I can eat day after day and still enjoy it. I enjoy the rare things like pumpkin seeds. I do wish they would add more veggie salads or wraps.
I'm a CA transplant and I don't understand why you'd pay 60% more for food that's on par with TacoBell. Goto Taco Bell or find a food truck and spend less and get a better meal. It still is a 2/5 since I have a soft spot for tater tots.
Nice place, clean and good customer service.
Five BIG STARS for the Factoria Taco Time!!!! We were there for 60 cent Taco Tuesday. The place had more people in it than I ever seen, but then it was 60 cent Taco Tuesday. There were people lined up at the drive through, there were bags being set on the Take Out shelf, and there people lined up to dine in. Just about every customer was chill about the wait, except for the three ladies who sounded like they came up from The Valley, totally. Yes, there was an usually long wait for our order because it was 60 cent Taco Tuesday! My group had some wonderful conversation while we waited and the time just slipped by. Now, when we got our food, it was expertly wrapped and presented as if we were the only ones in the place. It was obvious that the same care was taken with our order on 60 cent Taco Tuesday as it would be on a I Don't Want to Cook Thursday. I tip my hat to the entire staff! You all ROCK! Parking: Parking is good Wheelchair accessibility: In a chair? You can get there!
Went thru drive through. The person taking order and at the window were very nice. Food was as expected. As good as taco time could be. LolFood: 5/5
My drive through experience was terrible, once the order was placed I pull up to the window to see this female who was missing teeth, makeup running, and on top it couldn’t get my order correct. The management really should have a different person taking the orders that would better benefit the customer. On top which, I found a hard bone like piece in my food. Good luck at your location!
Good food - terrible wait times I mean this place would be great if I didn't sit here for 10 or 15 minutes every time I wanted to "eat in". Even that wouldn't be so bad if in the same amount time I didn't watch 10 cars go through the drive through and get their food after I've ordered. Unfortunately both of these things are consistently true at this place. Moral of the story? Go through the drive through and then take your food inside if you don't like eating in your car. They clearly prioritize one line over the other.
Screen hasn’t worked in the drive thru in months. Employees refuse to repeat order back and will not give a receipt. Sides of ranch are only quarter way filled up at most. I don’t understand how 2 number 3 bean soft taco meals and 2 sides of ranch is $47. feel like I’m being over charged for items I’m not getting. If the screen isn’t going to work they need to be repeating the orders back and giving a receipt. Corporate needs to do an inspection on this store.
service is almost non-existent. prefer the more public friendly, personal face to face service. restaurant newly updated.
