Great hidden taco joint out near Harrison. We always stop by when we're in the area. Amazing flavors and very reasonably priced. They were also cool for us to sit on the outdoor patio with our dog. Highly recommend trying the birria tacos. Will definitely return
High quality, great tasting food. We've been here a few times and always enjoyed the food. The Carne Asada tacos are our favorite. The Quesadilla is huge and can definitely be shared. The burrito too for that matter. We enjoy the Jarritos sodas and there's lots of different tequilas if that's your thing. I also recommend the churros with Dulce de Leche, mmmmm. Yummy! Our servers have always been friendly. We will be back as the food is high quality and delicious.
I'm the luckiest woman in Harrison that this gem is literally on the corner & can walk there! Some of the very best food Mexican or other that I have enjoyed eating. Brilliantly delicious & think layers of yummy flavors :0 We ordered the shrimp taco, fish taco, pork taco, the crispy chicken burrito - ALL delicious & amazing. The churos are crispy on the outside, soft & tender on the inside - freaking YUM!! Oh & the home made caramel sauce to dip. Prices are excellent food is even better.
Was recommended this place during a stay at Harrison, normally I don’t go for tacos so I tried their burrito and bowl instead. It was indeed delicious! Plenty of texture and taste, the sauce wasn’t overwhelming, chips had just the right amount of salt. Will come back again!
Dropped by here tonight and was not disappointed. Service was friendly, and food came out quickly. The portions were very generous, and the fries were delicious. The churros were amazing. Tacos were definitely one of the best we ever had. Anytime you are driving in or leaving Harrison, you have to drop by and eat here! Thanks for having us!.
Food is good. I especially loved the pork belly tacos when they had them. However, every time I’ve ordered take out from here I’ve had something missing and been called to come back, had something missing before I even left double checked because of previous experience, or had up to a 1.5 hour and an additional 30 mins also because something was missing. I’ve given this place multiple chances but at this point wouldn’t consider ordering again unless I’m dining in.
This little restaurant in Harrison hot springs, has a great variety of food and drinks. I am vegan, they have the best portobello mushroom & califlower mushrooms! My friend had the chrispy chicken with a jalapeño cheese crust. Which she said was awesome! Others had short ribs tacos and brisket tacos. All of which they raved about. The margaritas were out of this world! If you are in the area, stop there!
This is the best Mexican restaurant in the area of Harrison. We love the appies and servings were big especially their bowls! Good ambiance inside and very nice staff!
I've never considered myself a fan of Mexican food but my friends wanted to try this place and I am SO glad they did! The food was exceptionally delicious! We all had different plates, and each one was enjoyed. I asked the waitress to recommend for me and I was not disappointed despite being a tad wary when she suggested I try the baked cauliflower rice bowl. The staff were warm and friendly as well. We will definitely be back when we are in this area!
33 degrees and we wanted to find a dog friendly road trip. stop. We came across Taco Rio as we entered Harrison Hot Springs. The staff were attentive and let us know Etch was welcomed on their patio. We sampled a few drinks. The margaritas were delicious. The Al Pastor and Carne Asadas paired well with the drinks. The beef brisket and pork were seasoned perfectly. Reminded me of cruising in Mexico. We ended the visit with Churros. Crunchy on the outside with just the right texture inside. The dulce de leche was a perfect dipping sauce. I highly recommend visiting Taco Rio while in Harrison Hot Springs.
