It's a fast food alike restaurant, the only reason we are here is because I haven't had taco in years, food is alright, I wouldn't say its taste is superior, because it will do.Food: 3/5
My boyfriend and I went for a late dinner, I got a beef bowl with pretty much everything on it, and he got the tequila chicken burrito with pretty much everything on it as well which was massive btw! Absolutely great portions for both. We are stuffed, and will definitely be back for more! Such a lovely family owned business. Basically a Chipotle for the Coast, but better!!:
Co-worker brought me here for takeout, prior to our drive and ferry to Powell River. My burrito was the size of a football. Ok, it wasnt quite that big, but it filled me, and that says a tonne! I was excited to get back to Sechelt, to try the other meats they offer.
I had beef hard tacos and pork soft tacos, each with different salsa, a side of chips and guacamole, and a Jarritos to drink. The tacos were great. Meat was well cooked and the salsas were tasty. I'm orginally from Arizona and I have missed mexican food... And while far from the mexican food that I used to get close to the Border, it was still a good meal. My only complaint is that the guacamole had obviously been frozen/refrigerated for a while and was still quite cold.
I got a delicious and filling vegan burrito here with no side-eye or hassle. The person who served me was friendly, and the food was simple not plain and delightful and balanced. Each ingredient shined, and none were overpowering. Burrito construction was surprisingly top-notch.
Very well priced. Pork and beef tacos were amazing. Nice view of down town.
Great healthy option for lunch or dinner. The burritos are HUGE! Can't go wrong. Ask for the "Craig Special" if you're vegan and like spicy food.
Food was very fresh and the salsa Verde had just the right amount of spice!
I'll give it five stars for a chain Mexican restaurant as it is so much better than most others. It is not gourmet, authentic 5-start Mexican quality, but in its class quite good. I had a wet burrito with tequila lime marinated chicken and found it very tasty and a decent size as well. The red sauce was quite good as well.
Ok, so before I went to this taco store, I was warned "they ain't that good" like seriously!! Absolutely fantastic food! Just had the tequila chicken burrito! Amazing!! Like there is a party in your mouth, everyone is invited and no one has wiped their feet!!! Sooo many flavours and textures! Super fresh and toasted right in front of you. Felt it was a little expensive, based on the advice I was given just under $20 for a burrito, with everything and 2 cans of root beer, but hell no!!!! This is worth every penny!!! Easily as good, if not better than any I tried anywhere else!! Eat here!!! They are awesome!!!!
