Super busy on Friday, but still pulling it off, many happy customers. This is our go ...
So dissatisfied!! Went to my cousins house and she had ordered pizza on a pan crust. Not a pan crust. Are these new owners?? Got nothing but excuses soooooo, I won’t order from there again. And I grew up in PG on Tabor pizza.Food: 1/5
Pizza tastes good. But... I got a rock in my food last time. Which makes me think they dropped the ingredients on the ground and then picked it up and put it on the pizza. Also the time before I was laughed at for wearing Canada day clothes the day after Canada day. I'm not in highschool anymore I expect to be treated with respect at a restaurant no matter what I look like. Especially when im paying good money and tip pretty well as long as I'm treated well. I never went back. I would rather drive to the jolly mart across town.
I've been ordering from tabor pizza for years, the food is great but the prices now are a bit much. Before the new owners, I used to pay about $22.00 for lasagna and the containers were right full now you pay $34.50 and get less.
Tabor 2 for 1 isn't cheap with the toppings , and are speedy with their delivery. The last 2 times we have ordered, the pizzas have arrived in less than 25 minutes. That being said, we do live closer than 5 minutes away from them, but the pizza has been somewhat soggy and the crust felt undercooked. Today we ordered the Greek pizza which was....odd to say the least. It was delivered with thick sliced tomato covering the pizza. As in, sliced sandwich style, not diced. Perhaps for artistic value but it does not lend the pizza any kind of quality that a person would desire from a pizza. I've attached a picture to demonstrate what I'm describing. When a pizza arrives this way, it kind of leads people to debate how to deal with that tomato. Its a weird configuration that does nothing for the flavor of the pizza. Please save tomato slices for sandwiches.
Tried Tabor Pizza for the first time last night. Got the #7, and the #12 with their 2 for 1 deal. Sadly no photos! The pies were piping hot when they arrived. Ingredients were plentiful, the cheese wasn't greasy, the sauce was yummy but not super herb-y, and the dough was soft crisp just the way we like it. The hostess was very nice, and delivery ETA was 45 minutes to an hour, but we got our order in 40 minutes! The delivery man was super nice, too!
I have enjoyed Tabor pizza my whole life. It has always been our go to. I normally love it but the last two times I ordered our crust was hard and very thin. I thought it might have been a one off but nope. I loved their old crust so much better. The pizza just doesn't taste the same because of it.
My favorite weird pizza is on general menu here and it's SO good!!! Mushroom and shrimp pizza is just SO good.Food: 5/5
WOW! Had a pep/mushroom and black olives and a hamburger bacon and cheddar pizza last night and it was the best pizza that came out of tabor for a long time. Seems like they may have made some small changes but what ever it was they nailed it. Nice to see that they are returning to their former glory as best in town. Way to go and thank you it was delicious. Kid-friendliness: Kids will love it
Ordered tonight only because my main dominoes was closed for Reno’s and so I gave this place a try. First bite and I could tell something was definitely off. It didn’t taste like pepperoni at all and it was too chewy , you could see the dough was jelly ..$29 I wish I could get back
What happened?!? My family has been been ordering from here for years, in fact it’s our family New Years tradition. This year we call as usual and as instructed on Tabor’s website only to get an answering machine repeatedly. How does one order delivery pizza via an answering machine? We persist and briefly contemplate driving over to order in person for delivery which would be just ridiculous. Finally we manage to get through on the phone only to be told they have no small or medium pizza left? How does one run out of food by dinner time 6 pm on New Year’s Eve?!?! How badly does a business need to be mismanaged to find itself in this situation? Not sure if it’s under new management or what happened but if this is how the business will be run going forward they won’t be in business much longer.
