This was supposed to be a quick stop and leave the next morning. After a long walk along the river and through the campground we are on our way. What a beautiful campground, we will definitely stay here again. $25 gets you free firewood, electricity and a beautiful well treed spot. Site 35 and 36 are the first spots that back the river but are farthest from tbe showers. From 35/36 on there are shale to dozen large graveled sites with beautiful views of the river. The campground is well maintained and clean. Can not comment on the shower and bathroom as we did not need them.

Would be nice if you get a spot... Don't think it's appropriate to permit someone to put a tent bag in a site and that reserves it! Not even a reservation ticket or payment stub required. Kinda ridiculous.....

This campground and park is a local gem and oasis on the prairie. Nestled in the Oldman river valley, this campground offers sites with 30 and 15 amp hookups, group camping, day camping as well as tent camping sites. This place is well treed, with some sites offering excellent privacy. Firewood is included in your camping fees, which are very reasonable. There are a number of walking paths through the woods as well as a playground, picnic shelters and paid showers. Unfortunately, the washroom facilities are outhouse style, but usually clean. The only thing this place lacks is on-site swimming, however the Taber Aquafun center is a short drive away. Be advised that being in the river valley means you're unlikely to receive cellular signal. But sometimes that can be a good thing.

Pretty nice campsite. Was packed early June weekend. Free firewood was a bonus. Huge trees were pretty impressive!
