Sushi here was mostly amazing. The salmon and tuna sashimi were fresh, and I really enjoyed the slightly seared of tuna. I got the chirashi, which was pretty good value, as it came with quite a bit of sashimi, rice, small dishes, and soup. Only things that I’d complain about are the rice being slightly over-vinegared and the shrimp sashimi having a slightly fishy smell. However, I’d still recommend this restaurant to most people.
Freah sashimi, fancy unagi, sorry I forgot to take photos for the food because all I ordered were so nice except gamjatang.
Fresh seafood from a seafood district Sushi was tasty will come back again. Update: Indoor eating is back Ta Ke offers the cuts of sushi that are not usually available in Ontario. Fatty salmon and tuna for example. Lunch specials offer a variety of bento boxes and are very filling.

This was first visit to the Ta-Ke Sushi and it will be my last one - very disappointed in the food. The Sushi was very small, the spicy salmon seemed very mushy, and seemed liked there no salmon in it....I would not recommend Sushi here at all......I also had the Teriyaki Chicken and it had a hint of fish taste which turned me off completely ......overall very disappointed with my first and my last visit to this Sushi Restaurant.
Had the sushi lunch special and a Bibimbap. Food was pretty good, 3.5 for Bibimbap and 4 for the sushi lunch. Service was very friendly. Bathroom was dirty, which is a big reason for a 3 instead of a 4.Food: 4/5
Only take-out as of October 2021 when I visited. Had the chapchae which was not great but not bad either. Price is cheap for the amount. It was a pile of noodles! Also gave me miso soup, kim chi, rice, and preserved vegetable. I would go for seafood items in the menu as others in the review.
Hands down favourite place to get sushi. Always friendly service! They have large, and fresh portions.
Great spot for lunch, dinners are a bit pricey. Lunch specials run Monday to Friday, 1230-330 and range from $9.99 to $12.99. They have a good selection of sushi specials and hot food specials, including Bibimbap, Teriyaki tofu and chicken, and Udon. All lunch specials come with miso, and can have a 5 piece of crispy tempura added for $3. Today, I got a nigiri lunch special with tempura, which came to $14.98 after tax, and my friend got a Bibimbap, which was the same price. Delicious!!
