Ta Bom Korean Cuisine

A small but well-run Korean style restaurant. Newly renovated and modern. Our server was particularly good, with emphasis on checking in with us during our meal. We split a spicy chicken BBQ dish and a full order of fried chicken to split between 5 people and it was ample food. I recommend ordering their yogurt soju to pair with your meal. It's not a strong alcohol but a nice way to balance out the spicy savory meals that this place has to offer. Highly recommend coming here, but be prepared to wait if you're coming during peak times.

This is one of my favorite culinary experiences I have ever had. We reserved on Yelp, the wait wasn't that long. Once we got to the door we were welcomed to our table. The service was impeccable. I have never seen a team in the restaurant work so well together, it was truly amazing. We had the spicy chicken on the grill, the food was a bit spicy but was super tasty. I loved the culinary experience and the food eaten. Food : 5/5 Service : 6/5 Ambiance : 5/5 My top restaurant experience so far! I recommend it to everyone.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! If I could describe the dish here with 2 words, it'd be those two. The food came in very fast, and was carefully, making it ever more appetizing to my eyes before digging in! The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions were generous. There was plenty of pork belly, beef, and octopus in our meal! Cheese was added at a reasonable price as well making it one of the best combinations I've tried I love melted cheese. Afterwards, we combined our leftovers into fried rice which made it delicious to finish off! The servers tending us were attentive and friendly, and offered to cook our meal even though the restaurant said it was self-service. The atmosphere was nice, with dim lights and a casual vibe. The only drawback was that depending on where you're seated, you could end up somewhere near the door which could mean you'll feel a breeze during the winter at least. Overall, the food was great, service was awesome, and the atmosphere was inviting! I will definitely be back and hope you visit them as well!

10/10 SERVICE! Super friendly and recommended some good dishes. We got the hot plate of Pork Belly + Octopus with less spicy and it was perfect! Great portion for 2 and had great flavours. Abundance of different kind of ingredients in the mix. The yogurt soju was delicious as well

Lunch special! We came here for their lunch special set menu today and when we sat down, they told us that they only had 1 left. But to our surprise they had one more set after that. We got the beef Bulgogi and and spicy beef stir fry. The meat was well marinate and the variety of food was great! I think there could have been a more attention put into the different side dishes for each set but nonetheless this was all yummy for thr price we paid. Make sure you call or go early cause a few people left upon hearing that they are not serving it anymore.

This was a really cool place to stop for lunch. The price was decent for two people. The drink options were limited as some products were not in stock. However, the server recommended an excellent mango soda. Excellent service. The food was amazing and filling as well. Would definitely come again when back in Vancouver.

Did a walk in on a Wednesday, got a table within 30 minutes so reservation is strongly suggested if you hate to wait. Once seated, the thing comes simultaneously. Can't complaint about the food at all, it was satisfying. The service was just as great too.

Wow, simply wow. Do not sleep on the Soju. It's made in house, and yogurt based with a variety of flavors. We got the Strawberry and Pineapple flavors and it was the best Soju I've ever had thus far. Like most people, we also got the Dak-galbi for 2 and it was sooo good. Get it with cheese and a side of rice to amplify the flavors. Truly a unique and delicious experience. I think this place executed it to perfection, almost felt like I was back in Korea. Also, service is really good. Nit picking, but the side dishes were just average, but still yummy. Finally, this is subjective, but I loved that they were bumping some hip hop, it really made the experience that much better. This place is a 6/5, go here, you will not be disappointed.

I originally thought Tabom was the best Korean restaurant in town.I have been dining out here now and then since two years ago,but the food was not as excellent as before.. Japchae was not reasonable for the price like it used to be.It only came with two small pieces beef this time. Sundubu-jjigae tastes differently every time.Sometimes tastes amazing.Today was flat. Soul Tteok-bokki was not the high level as before.Rice cake with no flavor.Chicken Katsu was just okay.The presentation of corn dog was way too bad.Very weird cut and tasted so different than before. The overall food experience was not great this time,but good service.I hope Tabom would be my top Korean restaurant again in the future.

Last Friday Sept 23rd around 7:00pm. We visited Ta Bom. I am glad to join waitlist via Yelp app before reaching there from learning a lesson last time in order to get the table. We ordered a Hotplate with spicy Beef, corn and cheese and half & half Baam chicken. orignal + honey garlic, nice portion for 7 people. Other than too many people and cannot stay long for chatting, we enjoyed the environment, the wonderful services from the server forgot his name we are table of 7 ladies. Please send my appreciation to him. We will visit again. Thank you very much.
