Rice was so unsalted. Hot chicken was dry and also small portion. Stuff were not nice.
Stopped in for dinner last night on the way back from Toronto. I always order the same thing - Chili Chicken with Rice its one of my favorites for sure! Just over $10 for one meat and rice - love it!
I’ve been eating at Szechuan for fifteen years the old Toronto restaurant and the vaughan mills mall as well as the express versions since they came out with them, and at several locations across Ontario. This was inedible. The food didn’t look even close to the same as the other locations. The rice was so wet it was like porridge. The szechuan chicken was gummy and absolutely disgusting. I got my husband to taste it because I thought maybe I’m just crazy. He also agreed it was gross and shouldn’t be eaten. I had to return it. I never have returned food in my life. I had one bite and it made me feel sick. I love szechuan, but under no circumstances should anyone eat at this location.
The fried rice wasn’t fully cooked, it was just hard and awful so I had to get pay another $4 to get a bowl of white rice, this is crazy!
Horrible experience! Servers were pushy and not polite. Food portions were ridiculously small and the chicken was so stale/hard that it bent my plastic fork and a prong almost broke off. DO NOT GO HERE! For the price I paid, I expected a much larger portion. The to-go container they put my food in I wasn't even asked if it was to-go or not was incredibly small! I didn't even know such a small container existed. My container was filled to the halfway point of the height of the container which is already shallow as it is. The picture I have attached is literally all the food I got. There is literally one layer of noodles just enough to cover the bottom of the container. Please do yourself a favour and go nextdoor to Big Smoke Burger instead. When I went back to get another fork, they asked me what I was doing. I told them the chicken was too hard and it broke my fork. They then stared at me as I took the fork to my table. By the way, I went on a Tuesday at 1:15pm in March when it is not busy in the least. Lastly, if you purchase a less than $10 meal, you have to pay an additional 50 cents for using a credit card.

I love their food so much, that's best one in the Niagara outlet. I always coming here for my lunch, sometimes they were so busy like hundred of people in front of their store. Everyone in the store are work hard and they still give smile to customers and say thank you to them. SO GOOD SERVICES! I like Szechuan! ALSO THE SHIRT RIB NOODLE SOUP IS NO.1!!!!!!!!
Very bad food experience. Found a piece of plastic while eating this. The food was terrible in taste as it is and on top of that so UNSAFE and UNHYGIENIC. Stay away!
Food is okay. the quantity does not match up with the price paid. Service is always rushed and the portions you get are definitely not worth the stop. Won't return to this place. Noodles were dry and almost hard. The general tso chicken was dried out and chewy. Purchased a plus 3 item meal which wasnt enough food that I had to stop at McDonalds drive thru and I am not a big guy. Terrible place. Stay away if possible. Avoid this place. Unless you have money to waste.
