Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

On Friday my daughter and my friend had dinner here. Our servers name was Kelsey. She was so lovely. She treated us as if we were guests in her home. You don’t find customer service like this often! Thank you Kelsey for such wonderful service. We will be back to see you!!

I went to the Swiss Chalet on Hespeler road with my family on April 21st,2018. We were seated as soon as we walked in by a rude hostess who looked at two elderly ladies that were standing near us when she was ready to walk us to our table. We we’re asked for our drinks as soon as we sat down and there was no mention of any delays or wait times even though it was busier than usual but a few empty tables around. We sat for over an hour without word as to what was happening with the food and that’s when we started to ask what was happening and our waitress said the ribs we ordered were taking longer than expected and that everything would be done in another 10minutes. She suggested we order an appatizer while we waited which we did. We ordered a lb of BBQ chicken wings which she had said would take only 5 minutes in the deep frier which I assumed would be hot if not warm by the time they arrived to our table. The wings were cold to the touch and they weren’t even bbq but honey garlic. That’s when we just walked out and went to Milestones which is right next door and only waited 20 minutes from the time we sat down to the time our food came even though they were busy as well. Absolutely ridiculous wait times for Swiss Chalet will never go there again.

Excellent experience! Food is always delicious and hot. And the new poutines are delicious. I will definitely be going back again and again.

For 30$ of meal and drink could be way better. The service, place and food. Maybe I'm too picky because I get use of Montreal food, but personally I wouldn't go back.

I usually dont write reviews but came to Swiss Chalet with my wife and 1 yr old daughter and our server was amazing and super patient with us. The food, as always, was great.
