Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Swiss chalet. Just got out of the hospital and could hardly walk I was stuck waiting to be seated for over 10 mins and asked for the closest table. The server was beyond rude since it’s not a common table and said so to myself and my friend’s face. Came back and decided that she wouldn’t do my take out order while I waited with a drink. I have never seen such ugliness in a server before in my life. Her attitude was atrocious and how she is still there I have no idea. Would have asked for the manger but I was tired and in pain so we left. Besides at the rate someone would come to me I’d be stuck there forever. Would never ever recommend this place. Go to Cobourg they are stunning out there beyond outstanding service from start to finish. Belleville should get some lessons from the Manager at Cobourg very exceptional. It’s too unfortunate for the server I usually tip 80-100% I’ve never walked out of a place before.
Just had fries and a chicken pot pie lunch today. The food was not hot. The pastry on the pot pie was tough. And the waitress was less than gracious. She did not make any adjustment in the price and basically blamed me for the quality of the meal. Won’t be going back to the Belleville outlet anytime soon. :
I usually love Swiss Chalet. But issues with food quality, missed items and bad service , has forced a change in franchise location. The worst was the waitress running off for a smoke and leaving our food sitting in the kitchen. When she came back, I overheard her telling a customer she had managed to fit in a smoke break. We had waited approx. 35-40 minutes for our food , which arrived cold. We go to Cobourg now. I believe you need a better manager to manage staff. Currently Staff manage the restaurant and it shows.
Not the best-quality food, and the ribs were a bit dry, but not a bad meal altogether!
Do better Swiss Chalet or you've lost a customer.nnI ordered the festive special through the app and what a pathetic piece of chicken I received. For $20 I expect to receive a decent size leg and not have my meal look like it was thrown into the box. I might have gotten 2 ozs of meat by the time I got through the bones. If I'd eaten in the restaurant I would have refused it.
