Since our doors first opened in 1954, Canadian families have been coming back to Swiss Chalet generation after generation. Our rotisserie ovens only accept fresh (never frozen), grain-fed, Canadian Grade A chickens, because quality is all we know. So what will it be? A Quarter Chicken with fries?

The plates with me and my wife's food on it were dirty. The empty plates that were brought for my children were disgustingly dirty with grease spots all over. I showed the waitress and she took them away and brought back two plates that were only half as dirty. Talked to the manager and he claimed that the dishwasher temperature may have been too low. He came back to the table and told me the dishwasher was fine. I showed him my child's unused plate and he was disgusted and told us he really hopes no one had eaten on that plate. I told him that if the dishwasher was working okay then the situation is much worse than I thought as the plates had not even gone through the dishwasher and made it to our table (twice)?? Manager admitted that the plates should have never arrived to our table that way and then walked away. The cleanest thing in that restaurant was the manager's shirt. Worst restaurant experience in years! Would never go back. Okay to eat here if you have really poor eyesight. Sorry but it's true.

Ummm...I don't get it. It was alright. I think they can do better. Not this individual operator, they did fine, but the chain as a whole. The atmosphere and food kind of reminded me of a hospital cafeteria 😕

Service was good, on the slower side considering it was not very busy. But food was great and our waitress was amazingly nice and pleasant.

Not bad when delivered! so tasty it compels the raccoons to dig the take out containers from the recycle bin so they can lick them clean.

As long as you get a meal with rotisserie chicken you likely won't be disappointed. Their fries are very good. Their beef burgers are average.
