The food was amazing! Meats so delicious! Was the perfect birthday dinner! There was 6 of us and we took plenty of leftovers home ! Probably could have feed a couple more people! Awesome Will definitely tell our friends and plan to come back again!
I don't give out 5 stars very easily, but this place is WELL worth it. So glad we stumbled upon this. We ordered the two meat combo with brisket and pulled pork, cornbread and potato salad. Initially we thought we would need more food but after finishing I was super full. Everything on our table was phenomenal. The smoked brisket and pulled pork are both amazing. I feel like I'm usually drenching smoked meats in BBQ because it's so dry or flavorless - not here. So so good. The potato salad was excellent and the cornbread with the honey butter was kiiilllller! I'm not sure if it's made with real butter or not but I asked for a tiny little container to-go and she gave me a baggie full! I think the *only* thing that wasn't insanely good was the sweet tea, but I would 1000x come back here again - just as good as BBQ I've had down in Georgia!
Got the sampler plate for 2 and it could easily feed 3. Ribs were unreal. Pulled pork was unreal. Brisket was unreal. Even the chicken which I usually avoid at BBQ places was incredible. Real BBQ doesn’t need sauce and this place is the epitome of that sentiment. I’ve been all over the South in the US and Sweetwood can hold it’s own with any BBQ restaurant I’ve been to. If you haven’t been here, change that. Absolutely incredible BBQ, sides, staff and the cold beers is the icing on the cake. Delicious!
Came in at 3 pm door opening, after my huge lunch at another BBQ restaurant. So I only had two spareribs. The ribs were very impressive! Meaty, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Even the fat layer tasted like jelly. I eat ribs around the country but this is exceptional. The only thing I didn't enjoy is the thick BBQ sauce glaze. It's so sweet and sticky that it overwhelmed the meaty flavor. I'd prefer a thinner and lighter glaze or even dry rub. Anyway, highly recommend getting their ribs. You won't regret that.
I'm in Wenatchee as a stopover on the Cascade Loop. A friend and I are riding our motorcycles from Whidbey Island to Wenatchee, then Winthrop the next day for lunch and end the ride back on Whidbey Island. While stopped in Wenatchee we decided to eat at a BBQ restaurant that someone recommended called Sweetwood BBQ. I am very happy that we ate at Sweetwood BBQ. The staff was very motivated, helpful, polite, and friendly. The decor is noth8ng fancy, but is very nice and enjoyable in an understated way. The highlight of the visit is as it should be... the food! I ordered the Sriracha Ribs, coleslaw, and side salad. The ribs were incredible! Very tender, moist, and tasty. I especially liked the Sriracha sauce. As my friend described them, they were quite tangy. I love spicy food and these ribs were enjoyable for me. The side salad consisted of pickled onions, carrots, cherry tomatoes, flakes of parmesan cheese, pickles and lettuce. A very nice side salad since most places idea of a side salad is lettuce, carrots, and maybe some tomatoes. The coleslaw was nice as well. It wasn't spectacular or special in any way, but it was some of the best I've had. If you like BBQ and you are in Wenatchee, give Sweetwood BBQ a visit. You won't be disappointed.
Great BBQ Spot. Literally every 15 seconds someone was coming in to grab food to go. Don't be mistaken, there was a good amount of people eating indoors too! Food was way more than we expected! See the photo of the BBQ chicken thighs, pulled pork, & Xtra crispy chicken! Their side sauce was awesome too. It's bus your own table, and pour your own water. But everything is near your table, it's easy to do the aforementioned. Employees were friendly & customer service was great. We drove in the area from Leavenworth Octoberfest, and it was worth the 25min drive. Will be dropping in to this BBQ Restaurant in the future. 5/5!
The flavors and tenderness of these meats are Fantastalicious! The meat almost came off the rib, just from picking it up. The real smoke flavor is just mmmm.....mmmmm.....good The pickes are a perfect balance of sweet, heat/crunch 6 stars out of 5.
The BEST BBQ I’ve had! Sweetwood catered me and my husbands wedding with 100+ people and it was a huge hit! We had pulled pork, chopped beef brisket, chicken thighs and cornbread with honey butter. I grew up in the south with world class BBQ and these people didn’t disappoint anyone. To be able to cook for that many people AND knock it out of the park takes real skill. The owner was the nicest person and very accommodating too. Really couldn’t have had a better experience. Can’t thank them enough.

Absolutely wonderful customer service every time! Last night we were helped by a young lady , Roxy , and she was so sweet, I had forgot to ask for no pickles on my order and instead of treating it like an inconvenience like most places would, she very kindly asked if I’d like her to let them know to redo , I didn’t want to be extra but she said it was their pleasure to get me a meal I would love for the money I was paying! Excellent! ! Most delicious Cesar dressing for salads etc. , you can buy by the bottle too at a great price! I think 5$/6$ regular 12oz or so or huge probably like 20-32 oz one for around 10$-12$ ! Amazing!
