Great little local ice cream shop. Ice cream is amazing & portions are plenty! Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it!
This place is a hidden gem! They have so many choices. And you must try the maple soft serve dipped in Maple nuggets. Their maple soft serve is made with real VT maple syrup!
More expensive than tim and dougs at newport but better chill place
Great ice cream from Gifford's in Maine. Always have maple creemees which are also fabulous. Creative sundaes and reasonable prices. Wish it was open all year 'round.
Tasty local ice cream shop. They have great and friendly staff and plenty of parking since it is on school grounds. When the weather is nice there are picnic tables to sit at. They are a wide variety of ice creams and sundaes. I had the maple dumpling Sunday and it was really delicious. If you go you have to try the maple creme with maple nuggets!
Maple Creamee and Maple Dumpling Sundae makes this a place you will definitely wish to visit more than once!
I love ice cream places and sweet scoops is as good as any I do feel you get a little more ice cream at Tim and Doug's in Newport but I also feel the Sundays are better at Sweet scoops. I will say one thing do not order the campfire s'mores ice cream there's a reason they call it camp fire it's because it tastes like the burnt part of the marshmallow. I think I would rather lick a dog's butt that was the most disgusting ice cream taste I ever had.
I absolutely love the ice cream! Also it's located right in the park so the kids can play and the adults can watch while visiting with each other!
Large portions and tasty ice cream. Interesting spot being in front of a school, but plenty of space to eat outside on a nice day!
Do not drive by this place without stopping for a maple creemee. You will not be disappointed. Everything on this menu is delicious. I've never run into friendlier staff either.
