I noticed the sign from the street and popped in today to check it out. Sweet Cindy’sdid not disappoint. Finding gluten free baked goods that are easily as delicious as their gluten-laden counterparts has been a personal struggle. I got a cinnamon roll and chocolate chip cookies. No photo of the cinnamon roll as it promptly disappeared down my gut, but it was delightful. The insides and outsides of the roll itself were soft, not the hockey pucks I used to bake at home that only really had a good center. There was a sticky caramel to the inner cinnamon layers and the frosting was amazing. The chocolate chip cookies have an airy crispness to them reminiscent of a Chips Ahoy, but with homemade rather than store-bought flavor. I’ll be stopping here again, 100%.
We travel the country for work and constantly in search of gluten free goodies. Both my husband and I were very impressed with the cinnamon rolls, donut holes and the almond scone looking cookies. I can’t recall what she called them, but they were amazing. Considering moving here so I can access to these amazing pastries whenever I feel like.
Finally found gluten free bread and cinnamon rolls that taste the closest to non-gluten free I’ve had! I can’t wait to enjoy everything wise she makes, I’m new to Celiacs and feel the most “normal” again with her treats.
Had to try the famous cinnamon buns ~ Ooey gooey goodness!!! Who says gluten free has to be tasteless???
We love having a celiac-friendly local bakery! We regularly buy their frozen pizza crusts for homemade pizza night. The cinnamon rolls are AMAZING and really everything else there is as well.
Far and away the best gluten-free baked goods anywhere. cinnamon rolls, muffins, carrot cake, and cookies. I’ve been gluten-free for about three years now and have not enjoyed baked goods since then. Could not tell anything here was gluten free.
This bakery is amazing! I don't have to eat gluten free, but other family members do so I usually do too. Products have come a long way in the last several years, but I still notice the difference and don't love anything gluten free, until now. Everything we've tried from this bakery is delicious and I would never know it was gluten free! The donut holes and fresh baked bread are my favorites. It's about an hour away but definitely worth the drive! I'm so happy we found this little gem!
This place was nice ride from Baldwinsville; not too far and definitely worth the trip. I went looking for gf breads and purchased items from the bakery case as well, especially for my family. OMG that cinnamon roll, was fantastic! I'm currently defrosting one baguette on the counter and freezing the other. So excited to try the sour dough rye! I can't wait to return and try more items!
I was in town for the weekend visiting friends and realized I was finally in Fulton while Sweet Cindy's was open!! Went Saturday morning before 10:30 and the cinnamon rolls were already sold out. So I bought flat bread, a cranberry orange muffin, two pumpkin bombs and a pumpkin roll. I'm still eating my way through things, lol. But OH MY GOD!! I was given a sample of a cinnamon sugar doughnut hole and was in heaven. When you first walk in the smells are heavenly. I stopped letting myself enjoy bakery smells years ago because it was torture smelling all the good smells but knowing I couldn't eat them. Sweet Cindy's flooded my senses!! I was looking at the breads and was told I should try a bagel because that's essentially the same dough used for their breads. Best GF breakfast I've had in NYS hands down, a cheese bagel with a little cream cheese, sounds simple but the texture was bar none!! At that point I put in an order for a loaf of Italian bread for Tuesday as they were sold out of that too and boy was I glad I did. Cindy was awesome and even had it ready for me an hour earlier than she usually would because I was on my way back home. Italian bread was my favorite before my celiacs diagnosis, it's been 5 years. I almost cried as I broke off the heel and devoured it, STILL WARM, with some butter and jam in her parking lot before driving back to the Finger Lakes. I forget her name but the lady working out front for Cindy was such a kind lady and I really enjoyed visiting with her! I know you will too : I'm seriously thinking about ordering a red raspberry pie for Thanksgiving!! With plenty of notice of course : The prices are pretty fair too which is always refreshing because gluten free stuff always seems to be incredibly expensive.
Such a great place. Wonderful variety and excellent flavor.Food: 5/5
