Was really really really sick the past few days so I finally decided to go to emergency care at 5:30 this morning, got let in right away and had the best care from all the staff/nurses & Dr Burnside.. was home in 4 hours & now feeling 1000% better. They truly have great bedside manner & provided the utmost in professional care.. I have never had a sick day in 13 years, nor do I do google reviews, but these folks deserve ALL THE KUDOS. My husband went to the emergency room this morning because he had cut his finger badly and needed stitches the doctor eventually came to see him after about 1hr as he can hear and see her gossiping at the front desk about her personal life. She came and took pictures with her cellphone of his wound and said she would be right back. But he waited for her for another hour and half and still no doctor so the nurse just bandages his finger up and he walked out! No stitches to stop the bleeding! What a joke that hospital has for doctors! I would not recommend anyone to go there! A person would bleed out before a doctor came!!

I guess it depends on when you go there, I think. I have had great service at our local hospital and I have had some very bad service. It depends on who is working the shifts as well; if they figure they do not like you or are above you as a human so to speak, then I think they can give you pretty sh1**y and discriminative service. Mostly, I think that I have been glad they have been there even though they could not help me there and have had to send me elsewhere. At the times they have cared; I have found them to be quite caring. The times they have not cared have been equally as uncaring and callous.

They are very discriminate towards Aboriginals. So yes, I recommend to go to another hospital if you want to be treated like any other race.nnFor Aboriginals, make sure you don't have a reserve on your medical card, they'll treat you different. I'd suggest to get two medical cards one with a rural area. I got treated right away, when my medical card said Brandon on it. Once I switched to a reserve they didn't service me right away.
