Awesome food and great prices. We were a group of 10 and everything was great from the seating to the food quality. All the entrees we ordered were well prepared and adequate quantity.
If I would have lived closer to Manitok, I would have visited this place once every week Wonderful vibe. Great prices. The management is so accommodating. They truly care about your over all experience : You can make a day trip out your visit here, there is a great apple orchard close to here which is a great place for families or even friends or for a date to be honest :D
Impeccable quality! My family took me here for my birthday, and it was definitely worth every penny. Great portions, value, atmosphere and incredible service. 100% recommend for special occasions, and for anything else really.
The atmosphere is amazingly spot-on stereotypical British pub. Main course menu items are mostly things you could find in the UK as well. Had the Fish and Chips on this visit. It was a good serving size, but slightly over fried. Somewhat disappointed that Smithwicks was out of stock, would have been great to see other British Isles beverage selections on the Bar list. For dessert, adding some traditional British desserts to the menu, thinking Eton Mess or Sticky Toffee Pudding, would be ideal to cap off the meal. Current offerings are limited to a cheesecake or butter tarts. Wait staff friendly, restaurant clean and tidy.
Take out lunch! With the pandemic I have been really trying to support local. Today I ordered lunch for 4 as takeout. First off. When I got home I realized they had prepared an entirely wrong meal for one of the meals. I called them just to let them know. Their solution was to immediately prepare the correct meal for me to pick up. 100% approval of the solution. Everyone makes mistakes and it’s in the solutions that you see how much a business cares about their customers. Now onto to food. Simply put- amazing! Particularly amazing was the Sausage and Mashed potatoes with Brussels sprouts. Amazing value for the money. Do yourself a favour and order from these guys!
For a British restaurant you would think they would take better care of there chips ours where soggy. Aside from that this little quintessential restaurant is an absolute hidden gem. I would recommend to any passer by or local. The food was affordable and delicious. Our service was amazing she was so polite and professional. Fish and chips is delicious I would highly recommend.
Delicious homemade butter tart! We went there for a late lunch around 3-4 pm, and service was fast and on point, and the food was great. All dessert are home made, so we defientely will go back to try more!Food: 5/5
I like "The Swan" best on a cold day, as their hearty choices feel wintery. I would love to see more fresh, lighter options on the menu. I enjoy the English pub feel of the place. Update: The menu has improved from a few years ago. The options are now less "winter food", and makes The Swan a nice place to visit any time of the year. The patio out back was expanded, probably due to the previous provincial COVID restrictions, We arrived during a busy time, and it took several minutes for us and the guests behind us to be acknowledged. The lady behind us said she felt like she was invisible, and we felt the same, but once we were seated, the interactions we had with staff were pleasant. The new outdoor patio and bar are pretty coolz and I'd recommend checking The Swan out again if it's been a while.
Quaint little pub. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. First time going and had a great experience. Share 2 appetizers and was filled up.Food: 5/5
My nachos were crispy and tasty even when cooled down. Service was great -- friendly. Will definitely make the drive down from Renfrew again!Food: 5/5
