Only had take-out from here, drove quite a way to try it several times. Food was not good, sometimes did not even eat much of it. Thankfully there are better options.

For those in the area, pretty good food at a solid value. The menu is full of standard Indian fare that's plenty tasty, though on two visits the Naan was flavorful but had a taste and texture indicating it could be frozen and heated to order rather than made fresh. That said, Swad's convenient location and presence on delivery apps warrant a visit or a phone order. The dining room and start are pleasantly warm and informal, too.

The owner may not smile a lot but he can sure cook. This is a hidden gem. There are two people that run the establishment, an older man and a younger woman. While the man may not smile as he is, from what I can tell, the cook. The woman that runs the front of house has a smile plastered on her face every single time I am there. A few months ago I reserved a party of 9 people for 7:30 on a Friday night. They stopped taking customers to be able to accommodate and support the large party of 9. This was one of the most enjoyable dinner experiences I have ever had since by the time our appetizers hit the table we had the restaurant to ourselves. The point I am trying to make is that this establishment is not setup to support large volume. The bad reviewer did not think his decision through. Coming in to discuss a catering event without calling ahead seems foolish. Couple that with the fact that it was during lunch. Well let us just say that is not he most sensible time to expect the undivided attention of 50% of the restaurant staff. As I finish this review I will be placing my lunch order. Rest assured, smile or no smile, this food will be delicious every single time.

Fantastic food. Must try chicken Tikka masala One of the best food I had in US. Ate untill last bite.will definitely come back. Kudos to the chef
