"We are a seasonal business with a "fry truck" mentality. Open Early March - Late October. The "Original" Mr. Albert Gendron, started this business from humble beginings in Kirkland Lake, Ontario in 1932, and, with the help of his family kept the Chip Truck "Rollin'" through to Sarnia, Ontario, and eventually found the perfect spot under The Bluewater Bridge in Point Edward, Ontario in the 1950's. The Gendron's sold the business to The Laviolette Family in 1990 where they remained stationed under the bridge until 2006. After contract disputes over location, the mobile food truck was retired, and we landed in our brick & mortar building just a quick walk away from Point Edward's beautiful water front and our old location!"

Great fry and ice cream shop. We got a large poutine and an order of onion rings and they were both delicious. The kids each got an ice cream. They have an impressive amount of flavours available! They didn't use cheese curds on the poutine but it was still really good. The onion rings were a good size and cooked perfectly. The line was just reaching the door when we got there and our wait wasn't short, but not too long. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely come again.
My kids and I were taking a trip to Sarnia from Wheatley so I looked up best fry stands in town. This place meets all requirements! Food was delicious, fresh, large servings and affordable. We tried the Mexi fries, loaded fries, popcorn chicken and fries, stuffed spuds, and the spicy chicken burg. We will definitely return! Fantastic!
Albert's has the best fries in Sarnia now and always Food: 5/5
Alberts Fries has started this week with lot of amazing items on the menu My favourite thing here is veg spuds with zesty ranch. Large Poutine which has gravy and shredded cheese instead of cheese curds which is amazing ! You can add onions and different veggie to make it taste more good. Service is fast! Great view to sit under blue water bridge.
Fantastic! A perfect spot for a burger and fries. Staff is great and do their best to get you your meal as quickly as possible. Portions are GREAT! Burgers are great. And the onion rings are the best I've had in a very long time. The friend pickles were also perfect.
Always always always!! The ice cream side is closed for the winter, but I love Albert's. It is a Sarnia cultural experience. Not a food truck anymore, but definitely the first thing I think of when someone says "bridge fries"Food: 5/5
Some of the best French fries I have ever had! Rest of the menu is good as well . . . but the fries!!!!! We make the over an hour drive as much as we can and we always stop here. Strangely enough, I haven't tried the ice cream side.
Did a day trip into Sarnia while on vacation. Had heard good things about this place so we detoured a bit to come here. First, the good: the staff were lovely on the food side, gravy was good, the ice cream was yummy and they had a lot of options. BUT, with the good comes the not so good... the lady on the ice cream side was not friendly at all and just got the job done, didn't order the poutine like I wanted because the cheese was just plain shredded not actual curds which is the whole point to poutine, and the fries were just ok. Maybe I'm spoiled to have had some damn good fries in my day but these were not ones that would get me to make a pilgrimage here year after year. Not terrible but not amazing either. Waiting to see the owners response to this review as they don't seem to like any kind of negative feedback.
They have many different types of icecream and various tastes, when I went there for the first time I just supposed when I saw a long line of people over there, they have a sitting place for those who wants to enjoy with eating icecream there, but I didn't have it there because I was going to enjoy at the water front near the bridge . Walking over there with an icecream is a typical summer vibe in the area, do don't miss it. I recommend this place and try the Unicorn toots one which is really yummy. If you ever read my feedback please press like or thumb up for my feedback and my photos. Thank you,
