Story

Your friendly small town bike shop! Stop in for bikes, gear, full-service repair, bike and paddleboard rentals. Open year round for all of your outdoor adventure pursuits!

Our winter offerings include fat tire bike rentals, cross country skis, backcountry skis, and snowshoes and we are ideally located near the Leelanau Trail and miles of wooded & groomed trails!

Rented a tandem for the day for $60. Bike was excellent. Came with a fine map of the nearby winery bike trail, with locations of wineries. Also provided good recommendations of which wineries to visit. Easy after hours drop off of bike.

Great bike shop. Most of all the service is what made them! If we had any issues they accommodate us that benefited us, not them. For instance, the lunch that is served with one of the bike routes included a sandwich of your choice.. but all of them had deli meat on them. I can not have deli meat so they took a special trip to the store to get me something that I can eat. Not only that they made a special trip to pick my wife and up early due to we had other plans and can not do the whole tour. Just great old fashion service.

People are nice and seem to know what they are doing but tuning up a bike is much pricier here than in TC. I had hoped they would call if the estimate they gave went higher, but they did not. I also asked about replacing the seat for my bike and they said that they would charge me 10.00 to put on a 40.00 bike seat I would purchase at their store after I shelled out a lot of money to fix my bike. Traverse city bike shops have not charged me in the past. I also thought they would be a bit easier on locals since we are not tourists coming here with loads of cash to spend but they seem to have little commitment to locals and our constrained budgets. My bike seat seems higher than it was so I will have to fix that but it appears to run well. So that part is good.

Exceptionally knowledgable crew. Well worth the drive to Suttons Bay for service or just to explore their bikes and accessories.

Knowledgeable staff with local cycling destinations. Leelanau trail is very flat and straight
